Overall great speaker

This speaker is as expected from JBL. Connects easily and the bass is amazing. I would like to give it 3.5 stars as I am disappointed they took away the speakerphone. I enjoyed being able to pick up a call when the phone was connected. I will be returning it as that truly was the feature I wanted this speaker for.

Doesn't Charge

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and it was exactly what he wanted BUT unfortunately it doesn't work. It will not accept a charge at all so it is completely dead. Will be returning asap.

Thank you for your feedback Here are some things to try that often fix these issues for your Flip 5. If you have other charging cables, give them a try. (Be sure that the cable has the same type of connector as the original one that came with your product.). Try other electrical outlets at your location to be certain it is not a local wiring issue. Charge the product overnight for at least 8 hours. Check to see if there is dirt/dust on the charging port of the speaker. Check to see if there is damage/ bent pin/s on the charging port of the speaker. Sometimes wiggling the charging connection restores charging power. If none of these fixes the issue, please reach out to JBL Customer Service for technical support and assistance. https://bit.ly/2UYUuDV

Great but have 1 complaint

The speakers are awesome but the charging cord where it plugs into USB is very tough to figure out. I’m assuming it’s reversible and could charge either way but I already had one customer break a charging block trying to plug it in.

No microphone. My 4 had a microphone I could use for work call. 5 does not have it. Bought one online. Returning the 5. WHY?

It’s great, I’m just confused why they got rid of the stereo. Stereo is clearer, which is why I’m glad and excited that they brought it back with the Flip 6.
