another solid speaker from JBL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this speaker late and wanted some time to really assess its features...i should have known what to expect as I have several other portable Bluetooth speakers from JBL. The Flip5 is a solid a performer for its size..surprisingly solid bass and good volume as expected. Battery life is also very good lasting several hours ( I had to recharge after 10 hours of pretty loud playing) and charges quickly. Comes in a variety of colors and fits easily in a bookbag. My favorite use is taking it to the beach or having it next to me by the pool.. I haven't had the nerve to dunk it but it's x supposedly waterproof up to 3ft. I can say that splashes had no effect and would have probably ruined a regular speaker...overall, very pleased!

I love the USB-C charging it charges very fast. The sound is better than the FLIP 4 but it takes a fine tuned ear to hear the difference. I do wish y’all upgraded to Bluetooth 5.0. The features y’all took out like calling and using Siri through speaker are not a big deal to me since I didn’t use them anyway. The speaker being longer and heavier is not really noticeable. Overall I love the speaker. I do wish y’all would add color lights to the speaker for special effects.

Had great sound and it almost never left my nightstand. Won’t charge now. Won’t play. Expensive door stop. Do not buy this product.

My speaker did not work

I purchased this as a gift and it stop working. Didnt even get to use it for an hour.

i bought three flip 5s they do not stay connected tried everything constantly cutting in and out one flip 5 at a time they work fine but link two or three together forget it constant pain to keep connected

The Bluetooth range of our products varies. You should get up to 10 - 15 meters when using JBL Flip 5 indoors. When using the speaker outside, conditions vary based on the surroundings. For the best connectivity results, please make sure that the devices have a clear line of sight between them.

So happy with my new JBL Flip 5 I also own a 3 and a Flip 4 still great speakers but this one is the best one yet as it should be Ordered a personalized one and it came out better than expected Love it...... Love it...... Love it......

Bought the speaker used it for 3 weeks. It sounded good. All of a sudden it stopped turning on, it wont charge. It's a 100 dollar paper weight. I'm very disappointed! Wish I can get my money back or get it replaced with a new one.
