Less than a week of use and paint coming off

This looked great. For couple of days. Already looks like the personalization is peeling off. And it’s not like it’s in use by a teen.

Shock resistant to 270 feet

I climb cell phone towers and had it hooked to my harness. The lanyard was cut and I watched it fall, smack the mount below me, and land 275 feet down the tower. Call it a shock when the only damage was the cover needing popped back in place and minor scuffing.

Overall amazing!

I've had the JBL flip 4 for about 2 years now and it has been everything I wanted and then some. Sound quality is amazing and the loudness is great. However, recently it has started showing signs (noises) that is has a blow speaker. Still sounds great but when certain beats hit you can hear the annoying blown speaker in there. Still sounds good most if the time though. Wish the warranty lasted more than 12 months.

FLIP 5---GREAT WHEELCHAIR MUSIC

I use a wheelchair because of a car accident, and play music as I "drive" my chair for two reasons: First, I always had music going in my car. If my chair is to be my car now, I still want music. Second, I got hit by a driver in San Antonio. They weren't looking. Texas drivers are an especially wild breed. Crisp, clear music played reasonably loud as I go down the street provides increased visibility, so I'm safer. I've had several people ask, "Is that great sound coming from that little speaker?" The loop is great for hanging on a bracket--no muss, no fuss, no one stealing my speaker. I also use my Flip 5 whenever I workout in the pool. Once, my husband and I were dancing in the pool (it's the only place I'm able to dance now) with the speaker playing, and I looked around. Every other couple in the pool had begun dancing, and a couple was dancing on the sidewalk! I do wish it didn't distort when I play it at top volume, but hopefully JBL will fix that. The charge life is great. My Flip 5 plays for 10-14 hours on a charge. I love not having to worry about getting caught in a Texas storm because it's waterproof.

Extreme sound out of a small speaker

I purchased this speaker a couple of weeks ago and this thing goes everywhere with me. Perfect sound for most every application from the pool side to camping, I'm very impressed

Great sound!

My wife received the Flip 5 in a gift bag at a company event. She gave it to me, and I started using it. Awesome!! I bring it in my golf cart, a hit! I bring it to the pool, awesome! Didn't occur to me to buy one, but now that I have it, Totally enjoying the music. Now I will add it to the short list of items I plan to give as gifts.
