Party mode is embarrassingly bad

This speaker sounds fabulous when only one is playing. Unfortunately for me, I bought four with the understanding that all for could link through party mode. If you have a party with these speakers you will spend the evening apologizing to your guests for all the spotty cut outs in the music (I know because I have). The connection when in party mode is not worth using so if you’re buying for purposes of party mode (like I was) then don’t waste your money.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got the custom jbl flip 5 and oh man does it look really good. The only two negative things I can think of is that it does smell like something (fresh ink?) and that the colors on the speaker look wet,
but they don't actually rub off on anything. I imagine as time goes on the smell will go away as well as the speaker looking wet.

Love love LOVE this speaker

This was a Xmas gift for my ultra picky husband. He keeps telling me how much he loves this speaker. The sound really is impressive, and we can take of out on our boat and not worry about it getting wet. Definitely worth the price

Great clarity even at maxed volume

I got this speaker for work. It's was very loud at home. Unfortunately I work in a very loud factory so I wasn't able to hear it if I got very far away. I gave a good rating though because it is a good speaker and would be great for any other setting, just not with earplugs and a bunch of machines, hammering metal pieces etc. Though I will be returning this speaker, I will be sticking with JBL. The clarity is awesome. Even at max volume it does not peak on highs or mid range.

Never got the product

I never got the product. And because of policy I am unable to get my order sent to me and have to order a new one. However they are now out of the color I ordered. Very disappointed. My family and I are very big JBL people and we all drive Toyota’s with the speaker and own the boom box and many many other kinds of speakers. This is extremely upsetting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You cannot kill this speaker

Dropped this speaker off my kayak near my place in tampa bay. Chalked it up as a goner and was ready to buy a new one because I thought it was a great speaker. Well 6 days go by and I’m at the same spot where I lost it when I see what looks to be the speaker in the water. Not only did I somehow find it but after being submerged in saltwater for six days and half buried into the sand bottom, it worked immediately! Pulled it out of the water and this thing still had half the battery left and worked like new.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thankful that I was able to order from the JBL website so that I could get the Teal JBL5, and also be somewhat reassured the product hadn’t been tampered with beforehand.
HOWEVER, one of the chargers came rusted?? I will need a replacement.
