I bought this after my old JBL flip 4 was stolen by a family member who loved it! I loved my flip 4 so I knew I had to replace it ASAP (I had some other forgettably named speaker that just would not do) and I am loving my new Flip 5, I like the new style and sound - I don’t love that the new charger has changed, but a small price to pay for great quality.

Not functioning

Bought as Christmas gift for my daughter. Charged but never worked. Makes a noise when you turn it on but then seems to go off. Will have to exchange this item.

Bought it a few weeks ago and it works like a charm!! I love the personalization options I just wish they had the black base in stock. Black and white stripes look a little silly with a teal base.

So far I love my new speaker. The pink color is more of a lavender or rose gold but it's cute. It gets pretty loud ... I do notice distortion though when I turn volume up all the way and the beats are bumping . I wish it could handle more bass at high volume but for most of my needs it's sufficient.
