Poor battery life

I loved that I could personalize it. It came out incredible, I took off 1 Star because although it is loud for my apartment, it’s not that loud for my main purpose which was taking it on the river. Everyone had to stay fairly close to get great sound.
The 2nd star I took off was for battery life, fully 100% charged on max volume the speaker only lasted 5 hours. I tested this twice and on both occasions it was fully charged and did not last for more than 5 hours.

Thanks for your feedback. Our JBL Flip 5 has up to 12 hours of battery life. This may vary depending on volume and music content. If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid-volume levels, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit. Nice upgrade, love the option to personalize!

I bought this as a gift for my wife. She was shocked when she saw it was personalized with a written message and special colors. She loves it; says the sound is amazing. She used to have a Charge 2, but, after many years of consistent use, the battery has become weak. If this lasts as long as that did we’ll definitely be satisfied!

Wont power on or charge

I got a Flip 5 a month ago used it twice then it just quite powering on or charging, no way to reset if the thing wont power on.

Thank you for your feedback. We're here to help with your JBL Flip 5. To isolate the issue, please try to see if there is light while plugged in. If yes, please do a forced power cycle by holding down the power button for 30 seconds while it's not connected to any power supply. If there is no light even plugged in please try a different cable or try charging it into a different power outlet. Examine the charging port for debris or damage. Try charging the speaker overnight. Move the charger around the charging port to see if that helps. If the issue remains, please contact our customer support so we can assist you.

I bought my speaker about a month ago and personalized it with lilac, baby, pink and dark pink in butterfly print, the sound quality is so good and it is the perfect size to travel with, I love it so much!

I bought this for my brother & he loved it! His older speaker was old & tired and needed a new one. I customized it to have a picture of our dog on it and it showed up two days early and the picture came out exactly how I thought it would.
