Love this little mower!

I wanted an easy lawnmower for me because I have Rheumatoid Arthritis. I bought a Sun Joe electric lawn mower. It is light enough for me to lift and I plug it in and charge the battery and it did my side yard and all but the middle of my lawn before dying. I’m charging taking a break and should be able to finish it in about an hour. No gas no spark plugs so easy. Push a button and go! I’m happy with it! My next Sun Joe will be wider. It also will probably do the whole lawn if it’s not as long and not as wet. My only wish for future generations of Sun Joe’s is to add something to the handle to keep it on as it is hard with Rheumatoid to hold that down the entire time. I may figure something out for me.

This mower has some issues, but it's also inexpensive, so in the end it nets out ok. It's very small and low powered, though it has a "turbo" gear that kicks in if the mower encounters resistance (e.g. long grass). Unfortunately, when it's in turbo the battery wears out faster, naturally. It's very lightweight and easy to maneuver, which is handy. My main issue is with the construction, which is pretty flimsy - it always feels like it's about to fall apart in my hands. Not to mention that two of the wheels shipped without being bolted to the body, though the covers were on so I couldn't tell that until they fell off. I had to reattach them myself, which was not easy to do and just annoying. I can't mow both my front and back, moderate sized, yards on one charge, and the catch bag for clippings is tiny, so if you want to use it you'll have to empty it many, many times. It would be best for a condo or small house with a small patch of grass to maintain.

I'm a 77 year old girl, and I've figured out how to use this best. Don't use the grass catcher,,it fills up way too fast, and is a pain. Don't use it if the grass is wet or damp. I have a small lawn, so this works for me. Battery lasts a long time.Don't let the grass get too long..it will struggle a little. All in all, glad I got it and dumped my lawn guy!
