Extremely easy to use. It's the best for not large yards. For example, my front yard is about 0.15 acres and the backyard is as much. I can finish my front yard in the morning, charge the battery, and do the backyard in the afternoon or next day. With one charge, I think, it can be run for about 25 minutes or 30 minutes sometimes.
I have a quarter acre (none of it flat) to mow. I’m a 66 y.o. widow and was not looking forward to using my heavy self-propelled push lawn mower all summer. So I found this Sun-joe lawn mower and absolutely love it. So very light and holds the charge quite nicely. I did buy the side chute as I was having to empty the bag too often. All works very well. I do find that the lawn shouldn’t be at all damp for the mower to work optimally. Highly recommend!!
I have a small yard so i don't need much and this is a perfect fit. Battery powered is a plus so I don't need gas. Only thing I don't like is you don't have access to the battery. you have to charge the whole unit. And it does take a while to get a complete charge.
Does a good job. Takes at least four hours to recharge, but works well. The battery loses power after a few days if you just let it sit, so don't wait too long to use after charging. Also it slips out of position too easily when you set the height of the cutting blades. Otherwise, performs really well and the price is right. So much better than having a gasoline-powered mower with oil and spark plug maintenance to worry about.
I purchased the mower to trim the grass where I cannot get close with my lawn tractor. It is easy to push and its size makes it easy to trim between shrubs. It has sufficient cutting power and the rechargeable battery lasts long enough to get the job done..
