Broken, and missing pieces.

Saved our lawn easy to use!

After using this our grass is finally green in those areas! It was simple to set up and easy to use. Empty the bag often and you are good to go!

My lawn looks freshly sown

The results are amazing, the amount ut takes up is impressive and it still leaves your lawn in tact. A few weeks later and our grass looks so much healthier.

Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only used this a couple of times on my small yard but I do see an improvement. We have a lot of dry spots and weeds, most of our yard is shaded so grass hasn’t ever grown super well but I’m happy to see a small improvement so far. I read it’s best to use a dethatcher in the fall so I plan to go at it more then. I feel like the dethatcher is made pretty well, even if it’s plastic and light weight. It is easy to push and was really simple to put together, it was packaged very well. I’ve never owned an electric yard tool so getting used to the cord takes some getting used to, kind of feels like I’m vacuuming my yard, haha. The collection bag is pretty small and has to be emptied a lot, it might be easier to take the bag off and use a leaf blower after. Overall, I’m happy with my new yard toy and I look forward to making my yard look amazing, maybe we’ll win yard of the month finally!

Nice unit with two options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SunJoe AJ805E dethatcher came with a scarifier as well to allow for two options. Dethatching helps keep my lawn vibrant and green after it resumes its growth while removing the thatch preventing water and fertilizer from reaching its final destination. You always wish for a bigger bag but doing so increases weight. I’d also wish the plastics would have more metal components in the attachments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Electric Dethatcher w/ collection bag allows you to use this Lawndale maintenance tool to decrease the amount of time it would if you did manually to remove dead grass and weeds annually. It's a plug in go tool to be used with an extension cord and gives you the power needed rather than using a gas power Dethatcher. Saves on harsh chemicals not being exposed to grass. Perfect tool that is a lifesaver for any homeowner maintaining their own lawn.

Does The Job Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sun Joe AJ805E Electric Lawn Dethatcher w/ Collection Bag was extremely easy and straight forward. The machine does an extremely good job.
Changing the blades is quite easy. Each is held in place with two hex screws. The tool is included with the kit. The bagging unit is easy on and off. That said, if you have a large lawn that needs de-thatching, the bag will fill up quite quickly. The machine is light and easy to operate. You do have to guide it along or it tends to move from side to side as it goes over thick patches of grass. Nice machine.
