[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Electric Dethatcher w/ collection bag allows you to use this Lawndale maintenance tool to decrease the amount of time it would if you did manually to remove dead grass and weeds annually. It's a plug in go tool to be used with an extension cord and gives you the power needed rather than using a gas power Dethatcher. Saves on harsh chemicals not being exposed to grass. Perfect tool that is a lifesaver for any homeowner maintaining their own lawn.

Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only used this a couple of times on my small yard but I do see an improvement. We have a lot of dry spots and weeds, most of our yard is shaded so grass hasn’t ever grown super well but I’m happy to see a small improvement so far. I read it’s best to use a dethatcher in the fall so I plan to go at it more then. I feel like the dethatcher is made pretty well, even if it’s plastic and light weight. It is easy to push and was really simple to put together, it was packaged very well. I’ve never owned an electric yard tool so getting used to the cord takes some getting used to, kind of feels like I’m vacuuming my yard, haha. The collection bag is pretty small and has to be emptied a lot, it might be easier to take the bag off and use a leaf blower after. Overall, I’m happy with my new yard toy and I look forward to making my yard look amazing, maybe we’ll win yard of the month finally!

My lawn looks freshly sown

The results are amazing, the amount ut takes up is impressive and it still leaves your lawn in tact. A few weeks later and our grass looks so much healthier.

Saved our lawn easy to use!

After using this our grass is finally green in those areas! It was simple to set up and easy to use. Empty the bag often and you are good to go!

Great customer service

This customer service is wonderful. Our machine had the electric cord inadvertently cut and they sent me a brand new machine. This machine works perfectly and by next year my grass will be perfect. It took a lot out even on the highest settings. People complaining about need to empty a lot needs to realize you must have a lot of dead grass. I did empty frequently but my grass was well over due. Thank you for this machine. Love love love it 🤩

My dethatcher works for a minute and then stops

When it works, it works well. But my dethatcher runs for a minute and then stops. I have to wait a couple of minutes and then it starts to work again for a minute or so. Is this because of some heating issue ?

VERY IMPRESSIVE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To summarize my review, I am extremely happy with the results. My lawn has always had a dull type of look to it and no matter the amount of fertilizer I add it just didn't change its appearance. Well I use sun Joe's dethatcher almost a month ago and I am surprised with the results, seems my lawn didn't need all those expensive products but just a simple dethatcher job to help it grow beautifully. A little annoyed that I wasted money on other stuff llwhen all i needed was this dethatcher, but happy to have found my solution. I have st Augustin grass and a mix of "who knows what else" so it definitely will work with different types of grass. Highly recommend 10/10
