Does what it's supposed to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dethatcher and scarifier is good for a residential lawn that isn't too big. It is good for a medium-sized lawn and probably not for commercial use. I love that I don't have to rake when I'm done because the collection bag catches it all. It was also easy to assemble and store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this machine a few times and I can say that it's good but not great. When I first tried it out I was tearing up the lawn a little bit but when I got the hang of it I thought it did really well. I think it could be a good buy

Amazing for electric

I was skeptical about this being electrical instead of gas, but I am pleasantly surprised by the capability of this dethatcher! I like how lightweight it is. My wife was even able to use this very easily. Sun Joe is a great brand and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has been using the Sun Joe Electric Lawn Dethatcher + Scarifier W/ Collection Bag for a few weeks and he likes everything about it! The assembly process was fast and smooth, It came with easy to follow instructions. We have noticed some brown patches on our yard that were just getting worse with time and after he started using it, We saw great improvement and a healthier grass growth. He also likes that It's electric, no need for gas! We highly recommend to everyone to try and we will continue to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased a camp and it had been vacant for a long time. The yard unfortunately was so brown and dry and nothing we did helped it. The cabin is in the forest and we're surrounded by beautiful scenery, however our yard was just so brown and dead. This machine was so easy to use! We have seen so much of a change in the last week! This machine is wonderful and must have if you're having issues with you dry brown yard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sun Joe electric lawn dethatcher and scarifier is a great lawn machine for small/mid sized lawns. Its just the right weight and maneuvers easy. It charges pretty quickly too. The scarifier functions cuts deep for thicker growth. You can control the depth ranging from -.4 in to .4 in. Comes with a easy to remove bag too. Comes with a 2 year warranty. I have used other Sun Joe products and this lawn machine is of equally good quality. You can also use this for leaves in the fall. Overall a fabulous lawn machine that is electric with no maintenance requirements and space requirements for storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sunjoe Electric Lawn Dethatcher and Scarifier came ready to assemble with easy to follow instructions. I was able to put it together myself with no tools. The height is perfect for me at 5'8, and the handle is comfortable. The height is adjustable. The push start works easily every time. I appreciate the maintenance free, no-gas or oil convenience of electric. I am not a fan of maneuvering the cord around, but that comes with electric machines, and the cord clip helped control it. The motor was strong enough to handle my lawn and remove quite a bit of dead grass and clippings. The machine is wide, about 15 inches, and on the middle setting with the scarifier, it removed a full bag after each 10 feet of lawn. A larger bag would cut down on the stopping and starting to continuously empty the clippings. I appreciate the option to use either the power rake or scarifier function. I have only used the scarifier, so I have not had to change out the parts. There are 5 settings for depth, so you can choose what best fits your needs. The bag comes on and off easily to dispose of clippings and put back on. Overall, this has been a great addition to my lawncare collection!
