Got the job done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this right before summer and started using it immediately. It does exactly what it says it does. A few things changing out the blades from the dethatcher to the scarifier and vice versa is not super easy. The plastic it is made with is super cheap that within the first 3 uses I had a broken piece on the flap and due to that the bag where everything would get caught in would fall off.

Works good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works good. I appreciate the maintenance free, no-gas or oil convenience of electric. I am not a fan of maneuvering the cord around, but that comes with electric machines, and the cord clip helped control it. The motor was strong enough to handle my lawn and remove quite a bit of dead grass and clippings. The machine is wide, about 15 inches, and on the middle setting with the scarifier, it removed a full bag after each 10 feet of lawn. A larger bag would cut down on the stopping and starting to continuously empty the clippings. I appreciate the option to use either the power rake or scarifier function. I have only used the scarifier, so I have not had to change out the parts. There are 5 settings for depth, so you can choose what best fits your needs. The bag comes on and off easily to dispose of clippings and put back on. Overall, this has been a great addition to my lawncare collection!

We have struggled with our lawn and making it look good and this is for sure the answer. If you’re on the fence, I would do it! Looking forward to an awesome looking lawn this summer

Easy to Use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first experience with a dethatcher and it went really well. We have trees that have tiny leaves and those leaves drop below the grass and choke it out to make bare spots. This dethatcher was super easy to setup and also easy to use. I started off on a small area of the lawn and it picked up a ton of thatch while leaving the grass. I'm a fan.

Loved it, recommended by my nephew who is very particular. My lawn, my friends lawn. My cousins yard, my moms yard and my nieces yard all look great! Thx Sun Joe!! Super easy to use and durable as well.

AG805e First use

First dethatching with my new Ag805e. Lawn about 18000 sq ft. Went well except what I believe to be major design flaw which I didn't see any review pointing out and little info in manual. The air intake plugged after the first hour of use. Motor safety shut unit down. I cleaned filter with brush but found it difficult to clean and see no easy way to remove. My fix was to use a covid mask taped over the inlet. Much easier to clean and change!

VERY IMPRESSIVE

My lawn has always had a dull type of look to it and no matter the amount of fertilizer I add it just didn't change its appearance. Well I use sun Joe's dethatcher almost a month ago and I am surprised with the results, seems my lawn didn't need all those expensive products but just a simple dethatcher job to help it grow beautifully. A little annoyed that I wasted money on other stuff llwhen all i needed was this dethatcher, but happy to have found my solution. I have st Augustin grass and a mix of "who knows what else" so it definitely will work with different types of grass. Highly recommend 10/10

While putting it together was a pain using it was a breeze. Anyone who needs a little bit of help on their yard should definitely invest in one of these! Highly recommend.
