Amazing sounds
on December 3, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have linked the sound bar with my qled 8k tv and the govee light settings and it's amazing. Aside from the knox security being inept at security as I have noticed pictures cut out and the updates don't come as regular as I need for the security reasons. Aside from the security flaws that Samsung obviously has due to the hacking of my account and many others it would seem. So due to the security system flaws I would suggest Samsung sound bar to anyone. I have an entire Samsung smart system with stove and fridge and more and I can't wait until it is actually secured this company is unstoppable with quality. Just one more tv and sound system to complete the entire house from compatible govee lighting and more I recommend Samsung to anyone who has nothing to hide from hackers and don't mind getting logged out of your system and your password changed every two weeks or so. Get a Samsung sound bar it's the bees knees just don't expect your security to be okay.

IT looks good, why here the total power is 520W, while in the simple user guide it is 200+160+120=480W?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Ethan,
Thank you for taking a moment to review Samsung's HW-Q910D Soundbar.
This guide is actually for both the HW-Q910D with a total wattage of 520W and the HW-Q850D with a total of 480W.
For the HW-Q910D Soundbar output is 240W, Subwoofer output is 160W and the Rear speakers output is 120W giving you a total of 520W.

Hi Barryd,
We appreciate you taking a few moments to review the Samsung HW-Q910D Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the sound occasionally dropping from your soundbar. You may first want to check the cable connection of the soundbar to the TV or external device to ensure it is secure, and properly connected to the correct port.
In addition to checking the connections of the soundbar, please make sure your soundbar is using the latest firmware Version. Updating the firmware on your soundbar gives you all the benefits of the latest improvements. You can update your firmware by using a USB device or through the SmartThings App.
You may also want to initialize your soundbar by pressing the - and + (volume) buttons on the top of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. “INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset. Please know, this will reset all settings on the soundbar back to default; any sound adjustments will need to be performed again.
Should you continue to experience audio dropouts, and are connected wirelessly, please use the included cable to connect the soundbar to the TV. Using a wired connection instead of wireless often eliminates the issue entirely and improves the user experience.
If you need more help, Samsung is here for you. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST (Ask for Soundbars), 7 days a week. Our Live Chat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

Hi Robert,
Thank you for sharing your review of Samsung’s HW-Q910D Soundbar.
You can manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (which looks like a gear), you can set the audio function such as Spacefit Sound, AVA, Voice Enhance mode, or Night mode.
There are multiple ways to control the bass levels for your new Soundbar.
1) Using the WOOFER button on the provided Soundbar remote. Use the woofer button by pushing forward or pulling backward on the button itself to adjust the bass levels between -12 or -6/+6. If you want to reset the bass to 0 then push the button in. 2) When you press the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the treble or bass levels between -6/+6.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.)
To control the volume of each speaker, press the CH LEVEL button on the provided remote. Then select CENTER LEVEL, SIDE LEVEL, WIDE LEVEL, FRONT TOP LEVEL, or REAR LEVEL. Once you find the channel you are looking for, adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
I hope this tip helps improve your enjoyment. For more help, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (Ask for Soundbars), 8 AM – 12 AM EST, 7 days a week. Live Chat with an agent as well as manuals, software, and warranty info can be found at the ‘Support’ link on our Samsung website.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this setup in my new movie room, and provides everything I wanted from a surround sound setup, and more.
It's seamless integration with my Hue Bridge and my Nvidia Shield make it an absolute go-to for easy smart home setup.
