The most elegant sound source
on March 23, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No matter whether it is movie night, gaming, music or one of my audiobooks or podcasts. It’s the most perfect sound output I’ve ever heard if I’m listening to a podcast I feel like I’m in the studio with them. Audiobooks have the perfect pitch to understand every single word the narrator says. Gaming and movies have you feeling like you are in the scene and actually feel the sounds. For example a first player shooter game when you are in the middle of the action it’s like you can feel your shoulder get pushed back from the recoil. It’s just the best quality and superb thought put into the development of this elegant design. I would not waste a penny on Bose in comparison.

ICEMAN,
Thank you for taking a moment to review Samsung's HW-Q910D Soundbar. With 9.1.2 Channel sound and Wireless Dolby Atmos, you’ll be surrounded by dimensional and crystal-clear audio. Complete with the included rear speaker kit, your room will be filled with audio from every channel.
Did you know that you can manually optimize your audio experience by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button (which looks like a gear), you can set the audio function such as Spacefit Sound, AVA, Voice Enhance mode, or Night mode.
There are multiple ways to control the bass levels for your new Soundbar.
1) Using the WOOFER button on the provided Soundbar remote. Use the woofer button by pushing forward or pulling backward on the button itself to adjust the bass levels between -12 or -6/+6. If you want to reset the bass to 0 then push the button in. 2) When you press the TONE CONTROL button, you can adjust the treble or bass levels between -6/+6.
Press and hold the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds to adjust the sound for each frequency band. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons. (Make sure the Sound mode is set to “STANDARD”.)
To control the volume of each speaker, press the CH LEVEL button on the provided remote. Then select CENTER LEVEL, SIDE LEVEL, WIDE LEVEL, FRONT TOP LEVEL, or REAR LEVEL. Once you find the channel you are looking for, adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.
I hope these tips help you enjoy your new product.

I bought this one to replace my older samsung bar, which did a great job, but did nothing for loud commercials. I checked several websites and they said i did a decent job. I love the sound bar and its atmos / surround ability. but i did nothing for to level the loud commercials. all in all fantastic set.

If you are a first-time buyer Beware
on February 21, 2025

I purchased the complete system with a new high resolution 8K Samsung TV. The TV is super great, but the sound bar is disappointing. The bar itself is shrill (high frequence) and the sound from the TV Raer speakers is better. This cannot be controlled but itself as it is a standalone component. The system comes with a Sub-woofer that has low frequency adjustable sound. Placing the Subwoofer chairside or in the rear is what I like and that leaves my Bar upfront with the thin-high-frequency, Un adjustable Sound. No matter how I set up the speakers, I cannot get the sound quality I want. I tried a POLK system, and it did better. Great, if you have money to burn, but not good on the wallet. As for the side-rear wireless speakers, they too are not great, and I have attempted to make adjustments as per Samsung Technical experts with no luck. If I increase the surround volume, everything goes up, and I still have Hi-Frequencies to my dismay. No DOUBT you need a specialist sound expert to set up the system and do not make any adjustments thereafter. In short: Armatures need not apply!

Big 3D Sound, Small Footprint
on September 5, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sound bar sounded good when it was connected to my previous, non Samsung, TV, but it moved to a different world since I added a Samsung QLED TV with Q-Symphony. This soundbar, sub, and satellites provide an amazing 3-D Sound with apparent sound coming from places that don't correspond to the speaker locations. Truly Amazing technology. I highly recommend this set up.

Sounds Good

Sounds very good, the only complaint I have is that it claims that you have wireless surround sound and that's not true. You have to wire them to a wireless receiver, you still have to run wires to where you want to place the surround speakers, so that the claim that it's wireless is simply not true.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hi Ozzydog,
We appreciate you taking a few moments to review the Samsung HW-Q910D Soundbar.
Occasionally, customers have trouble hiding and running speaker wires from the front of the room (where their soundbar is) to the back of their room (where they have their rear speakers). The Rear Speaker Kit eliminates that hassle. Connect the rear speakers to its wireless module and place these three in the back of your room. One wire is required to connect each rear speaker to the wireless module. Then plug in the power cable to the module. The “wireless” convenience is in connecting your soundbar and any other speakers at the front of the room to the rear speakers – this can now be done via Wi-Fi through the wireless module, eliminating any clutter of long wires running the length of your room.
