initially fairly happy but not so much anymore

Yes, I bought this back in 2016 and had some issues with it so they sent me a second one. The second one, I used for over a year with great success but then I had to move and ignored it for over a year. Today, I brought it out of a corner to start over again and was very unhappy to find that something has broken so that the shaft that holds the pedals does not stay in place. What is missing that would fix this bike?

I haven't found a comfortable position to use it... and there are no suggestions or hints as to the height of the chair and it's distance from the appliance...

Thank you for your review. The Stamina InStride Folding Cycle can be used in an upright chair similar to a kitchen chair. This allows you to sit up straight and have your legs at a 90 degree angle. In this position your weight pushes down on the product instead of pushing it away. I hope this helps. it seemed to be a good product. But after a few use, I found that it was almost impossible to tighten the screw for more resistance.

The folding cycle gives me the opportunity to do extra exercise (of my legs and arms) over and above my daily walk. As a retired person, I appreciate the moderate exercise as opposed to high intensity. It doesn't need to be done at a set time but anytime it suits. The folding cycle is compact and takes up very little space. It is easy to carry to any room for convenience. Admittedly, the peddle straps are not very adjustable, the tension doesn't work very well and the rubber feet do not prevent sliding.

One disappointment the timer does not work requested a replacement many weeks ago but still waiting as I am disabled this would be a great feature for my daily routine hopefully it will arrive soon

I purchased the In Stride Folding Cycle approximately one month ago to support my knee replacement rehabilitation. The exercise i get with the little unit makes me feel as if I am making progress plus its compact size fits nicely into our small house. The cycle does slide on my floor; I have placed an inverted bath mat under it which keeps it stable. I am very happy with this purchase.
