Purchased this cycle to assist in Therapy after a knee replacement. The only criticism of the cycle is it has a tendency to move forward when peddling. The solution is to weight the front legs or put it against a stationary object to prevent it from moving. It definitely does what it was hoped to do.

It has provided excellent help in enabling me to move a little easier. The fold up is s little awkward but it does not keep it from being a real help. I would recommend it.

This product was not what I expected and I'm disappointed. A piece came off the left pedal right away so the pedal kept falling off. Plus, it doesn't stay put and moves across the floor the whole time. I tried on a carpet and hardwood floor. The only thing that worked was putting it up against the raised part of the floor between the living room and kitchen. I will be returning this.

I've been using this cycler for 5 weeks so can;t say much about long term durability. It does, however, seem very sturdily built. I'm 67 years of age and have scoliosis and arthritis so don't exercise like a marathon runner. Just want to maintain muscle tone and basic cardio function. This unit suits my needs perfectly. I use it on a very low resistance level for 15 minutes at a time. I don't have a chair high enough to use it in a perpendicular fashion as the manufacturers intended; so, I place it up against a heavy bookcase. The only issue I have is with the timer. After a month, it quit working. Probably the battery needs changing. More problematic is the resistance level of the button on the timer. You have to push very hard for it to have any effect. Well worth the price, would recommend to a friend.

Well Made but some practicality issues

This little unit is well made but there are two issues to be aware of. Firstly it will slip forward on just about any surface. I anticipated this and planned to anchor to chair front legs. The second non solvable issue is range of motion. The radius of the pedal cranks is only four inches. I have 30" inseam and no way can I get full motion which I need for knee rehabilitation. However if you can anchor unit to stop it from slipping and the limited range of motion isn't a problem then it may be worth buying.
