This is a great bread knife and has excellent serration for all large crusty breads, bagels, baguettes etc. I have a Four Star Block set and this was a nice additon.

This is a great bread knife, good for every day use at home or in a commercial kitchen. It’s made from a high-quality German stainless steel that stays sharp for years. The new type of serration is great!!

Love the Curve

When I saw this design, I was skeptical. But the curved blade really makes the slicing cutting motion so much smoother. The serrated blade is different than your usual "tall teeth" designs. Definitely less wear and tear, plus it's such a clean slice. It will be great on a watermelon but could definitely work great for carving a ham or roast.

Four Star is the best-selling brand for a reason! A great, quality series that is done with the Friodur ice-hardening process so stays sharp and remains durable. This serrated edge is good for hard outer crusts and softer insides, so French bread, uncut loaves, kaiser rolls, ciabatta rolls and much more. Nice curved handle for nice control and grip. Every kitchen needs a good bread knife, even if you do not use it daily.

Innovative serration design provides clean effortless cutting through crusty loaves and soft loaves of bread. The blade is slightly curved and the serration has spaced long teeth that cut through the exterior first and then smoothly continue through the softer inside. As with all Four Star knives the non slip handle is extremely comfortable and the forged bolster provides a sturdy feel to this long blade.

This is when innovation really innovates. This Z15 9-inch bread knife was created for super crusty rustic breads with light, tender interiors. It has a width for stability at the tip, and a slight curve upwards. That puts the belly of the knife in contact with the peak of the loaf while the tip and the heel follow down the slope. The length minimizes long strokes reducing tearing and getting off line. Brilliant! And for allthe cool features, there is nothing novel about this knife. It is Four Star. It will last a lifetime.

Great bread knife

This great bread knife is slightly bowed so that I can get better leverage to get through a large crusty loaf of bread without crushing the fluffy interior. I love the handle on this knife because it's so comfortable to use.
