Fantastic and Reliable Paper Shredder

This is the second paper shredder from Fellowes I've owned. The other one finally gave up the ghost after 10 years of sometimes hard use and shredding batches of paper and everything else I could stick in its throat. Wouldn't buy anything else for small office or for home.
Pros: Quality Construction, Jam Resistance, Quiet Operation, Secure Cut Size, Sheet Capacity

I love the way it lets me know when to empty and the amount of sheets of paper works really well. Much quieter than my last one.

I bought this as a replacement for a shreder that had quite, best decision i have made in a long time this Fellowes is one heck of a shreder. very quite you can not here it running if your in an other part of the house also the safe features is second to none. If you are looking to buy a shreder look at this shreder or it's bigger brother, you won't be sorry. I would buy it again.

We had a Fellowes shredder for 11 years, so obviously we replaced it with another Fellowes shredder. This one is so much more quiet compared to the last one. I really like the safety features and the sleek look. It definitely fits into our office aesthetics. It handles shred jobs just as it had claimed in the product details. I would definitely recommend this product for small offices.

Having owned at least 3 shredders and never been satisfied with them, I am extremely pleased to finally have found a well made shredder that is capable of a large amount of paper feeds at one time w/o having it jam. The shred time before it needs to cool down is more than adequate. I had a multitude of documents to shred dating from 2008 onward and this shredder greatly facilitated the job unlike no other shredder I have owned or currently own as I was using both shredders to do the job. Too much jamming and need for cool down with my other one.

Great Purchase!!

We were needing to replace our shredder in the office, so my husband started researching new ones. We ordered this Fellowes shredder because we'd been happy with our first one. This new shredder is MUCH quieter than our first, works like a champ, and is easy to empty. We would definitely recommend it to others looking for a great shredder!

One Happy Office

We just received our new Jam Proof Powershred 79Ci cross-cut shredder. We are amazed and surprised. This little machine in powerful yet quiet. When using our old unit, the motor was so loud we'd have to wait for a quiet time to shred documents as to not disturb customers or co-workers. One page at a time was all it could handle, if that! Now, 16 pages go through the machine like a hot knife on butter. The soft hum of the motor is non-obtrusive and allows us to manage paper efficiently throughout the day. If you are looking for a new shredder for home or small office, this is the one you need.
