Never buy fellowes again

From the first day of use, I have hated this shredder. I still have the fellowes shredder that I purchased 15 years ago, and it works circles around this piece of junk. This is the messiest shredder that I have ever worked with. Never again will I purchase a shredder from fellowes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been working for the last 14 years in this office and have been through 3 shredders. This is by far the best one. It is easy setup, easy to use and best of all it is quiet.

replacement purchase for fellowes shredder

We used a fellowes for a number of years and replaced it with a fellowes the jam proof feature was the thing that we were impressed with

Quiet powerful shredder

This shredder has a stellar reputation and from my limited usage so far it deserves it. I expect a long service life getting rid of sensitive documents.

I initially bought a Fellowes Powershred 79Ci almost 9 years ago. I use it everyday for work and personal papers. Hence, it has had a considerable amount of use. When the reverse no longer worked, I searched to see if there was a shredder I might like better, but my research brought me back to buying this shredder again. I am delighted to find the current 79Ci shreds up to 16 pages at a time, whereas my old 79Ci shredded 13 pages at a time.

My PS-79Ci is JAMMIN!

I have had my shredder now for almost one year. At first I was not sure I would like the single cut, but after much use have found it to be acceptable and impossibe to read the shredded material. I recently completed a huge photograph project (3000 prints) and the shredder cut every one beautifully. I had no jams. In fact, I have never had a jam with this product. Its easy to clean and paper does not get stuck in the blades. The bags keep the shredded pieces contained and I just pull it out and toss. I would definitely recommend this model for everyday and heavy use shredding.
