Far superior to my previous shredder

This shredder is very sleek looking, much quieter than my previous shredder and is a very fine quality machine.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Sheet Capacity, Quality Construction, Warranty, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Service Guarantee, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Jam Resistance, Mess Reduction, very nice design, safety feeder for credit cards & cds

Shredder satisfaction

While I have had this product for a short while, it handled all I fed it and indicated when I tried to put more than I should have so I didn't cause any problems. If this machine continues to do as it has it will have earned the rating I gave it and more.

Excellent so far

I'm loving my purchase. Not one problem so far after 5 bins. (I had a little backup from the end of the school year.) My only suggestion is to provide a larger oil bottle. I had to purchase a larger bottle.

FELLOWES SHREDDERS NEVER DISAPPOINT

We have been purchasers of Fellowes shredders and other office supplies for years. I purchased this 9/12/14 because one of ours finally quit; another is barely hanging on, and two others were just set out for recycling. We appreciate the quiet operation of the shredders a well as the variety of options available. We are all about 'safety,' so that feature is #1 in our book. For as many people that use the ones we purchase, they last a very long time and are well worth the money invested in them.

Great powerhorse

Replacement to OLD Powershredd55 - I got tired of the high noise level AND the need to physically remove the top and dump the "trash can". This unit is 100% quieter. I like using the plastic bag liner, then simply opening the bin, removing the bag, and putting in a new one. Spent a Saturday afternoon feeding old credit card statements without any jamming or overheating. Know what kind of cross shredder you want for security, as this is NOT a microcross shredder. Great purchase!

Operation Review

Will not shred 14 sheets. The best I could do when first tested was 12 sheets. This is good compared to my previous shredder. So far I am happy. The safe sense feature will not work while standing in front of the shredder. You have to knell to have the sensor work. Not a practical way to operate for a floor unit.

79Ci Shredder

I purchased this shredder for my office as a replacement for one that no longer worked (other brand). This Fellowes shredder is already so much better than my previous shredder. I have had it for a month and have had no problems. I love the indicators on the top that show when the basket is full, etc. Between work and home, I have owned several shredders and this one is one of the best for so many reasons. I would definitely recommend this product to others.
