An Office Must Have

The Powershred 79Ci's sleek design adds a touch of class to our office. The credit card, CD disc and staple shredding capabilities are enormous key features. The Jam Proof indicator is extremely helpful in eliminating any question of feeding to many sheets at one time. The added castors make it easy to move around for others to share. I know I will be ordering another Fellowes Powershred for my home and my husband's business.

79CI Shredder

I am replacing my Fellowes PS-77C shredder. This was a very good shredder for my office for my home business. As I am now retired, I decided to purchase a newer and larger capacity shredder to start destroying my business records. I bought the largest one available from the retailer I use. The Fellowes shredders I have always used in the past have done me a great job and I expect no less from the 79CI. Spend your money and pick the Fellowes shredder that fits your lifestyle. You will not be disappointed!

I just got my 79CI and best shreader I have ever had

I ran twice the paper through this shredder than my old shredder handle and it chewed it up like it was nothing.

I received this shredder as a gift to update my old and inadequate shredder. It has plenty of power to handle my needs. I love the disk shred feature

Blissful Shredding

My wife and I use our paper shredder every day. Our last shredder lasted 14 years. I loved it, and reluctantly agreed to purchasing a new one. My wife bought the Fellowes Powershred 79ci. I was pleasantly surprised with it's performance and function. I am looking forward to spending the next 14 years using this awesome machine!

I'm very pleased with my Fellowes 79Ci. This shredder will go through 14 sheets of paper like a hot knife through butter... with or without staples. The credit card and CD slot works perfectly ... keeping both centered and aligned perfectly ... while being fed through without a hitch. I like the safety feature that does not allow your fingers to get close to the cutter while under power. Some people mentioned that there is some mess when emptying the waste ... not true if you do it correctly. When you finish shredding simply roll the cutters forward for a few seconds and this will empty out any loose paper that is caught on the cutters. Some people also mention that the waste container doesn't slide in easily ... not true if you do it correctly. Simply push it in as far as it goes with one hand against the center panel of the waste container and slightly pull upward on the slide in handle with the other hand ... piece of cake ... works every time. I also use the included waste bags in the bin and then empty into a garbage bag. Some people mentioned that the 4 rollers on the bottom might be a little difficult to install ... it's simple ... just wiggle them side to side while pushing and they go in perfectly... no brute force needed. I don't see any problems with this shredder ... everything works perfectly ... like it should. I believe anyone who purchases this model ... will be very pleased. It is actually a bargain considering the quality. PS ... I bought a Fellowes air purifier at the same time and it is also flawless! I hope that your engineers got year end bonuses ... their designs are great.

Works for me as advertised

Have used this shredder for a total of about ten hours and it has worked very well. Its quiet. All the safety features seem to work. Not too sure that the total sheet capacity is as advertised but it handles what I need to run through it.
