Powershred 79Ci - Best!!!

This is my 3rd shredder in as little as 4 years. I use it only at home with a moderate amount of shredding. Even out of the box it has worked twice as well as any other shredder from other manufacturers. It alerts you when you put too much in, it backs out the material automatically, and has wonderful built in safety features. I look forward to this being my last purchase for a long time. Shredder Performs in a Paperless Environment

Our prior Fellowes shredder lasted for 3 years of continuous usage. Our office must shred documents for security purposes in our "paperless" environment and outperforms the competition.

79ci Shredder Does the Job

I purchased this shredder after using a smaller Fellowes unit and an Embassy unit in the past. They just would not keep up with the quantity of shredding I needed done.
This 79ci shredder will take 8 or 9 sheets of paper at the same time without slowing down and after a couple of weeks, has not jammed as the earlier shredders would do. It is also several times more quiet than the others.
The icons on the shredder top let you know the status of the shredder and the cause of any slowdown or stoppage in shredding ( such as the paper pin being full ).
I highly recommend this for home or small office use.

Great Product

This printer is extremely quiet and shreds way better than those cheap printers that I have been purchasing in the past. The printer is heavy duty and very durable.

Excellent SHredder

I was attracted to this shredder for all of the reasons advertised and then some. It is the perfect machine for the amount and type of shredding I do beside my desk. The company I work for has the monster shredder if needed, but this is ideal for my needs, and I like everything about it - even the size that fits perfectly.

Ho Hum, a paper shredder. Well, the old 8 sheet Xerox kept jamming, so it was time for an upgrade for this home office. And wow - I went thru a huge pile of paper that had built up waiting to be shredded - in no time at all - it humms, crunches, never jams. No need to count pages to be sure not to overfeed it like with the old one. Weird to say, but what had been drudgery suddenly became, well, almost fun. What seemed to take the most time was no longer the shredding itself but emptying the bin into plastic grocery bags (then I discovered the plastic bags that came with it...).

This is my fifth shredder in 5 years. Never before I had purchase this brand which satisfied my expectations completely. I just hope it will last more than 3 years.

Goodbye 2008-2012

Hands down the best shredder I've ever owned. The last one broke on me within a week. I had two large trash bags of personal information that I need to get rid of and the 79Ci went through it all in a few hours without a hitch! Only thing I really wish it had would have been an auto feeder but really was a value.
