My shredder (79CI) will not allow me to begin shredding more than 2 or 3 sheets of paper. The red light comes on and I have to remove the paper and use fewer pages. I'm sure there is a way to turn this off. HOW do I do that?
I love the shredder and have used Fellowes for years and have found them to be most reliable but never encountered this problem before.

Excellent quality, low noise and you can shred 6-7 pages at the time. Do not put labels. I would rate this purchase a 10
Pros: excellent durability., it would be better in small size, excellent quality, low noise, no paper jam
Cons: hard to clean, size is too big

worst instructions ever

The instructions were some of the worst I've ever seen. No help with putting on casters. They don't screw in; you can't beat 'em in place with a hammer. They don't tell you they have to be in a certain position to go in. Also, there are no directions for putting trash bag in bin. We had it under the lid, but bin won't open if it's like that. Just a little help would've been nice! As for the shredder itself, the bin is kinda floppy and is hard to lock in place, but it's very quiet and powerful.

Just started to use this shredder and so far I haven't had any problems. Seems to be a very good shredder, easy to use and not too noisy which is a big plus.

Item was promptly shipped and very well packed, actually triple boxed counting the inner shelf display box.
I unpacked unit, read the simple instructions and powered up.
I was amazed at the quietness of this shredder.
It will indeed take 14 sheets at a pass without complaining.
The fact that it will balk and not start when the load is too thick is an excellent feature.
