Some features could be better

Bin is too small even for a desk side model. The Bin Full stoppage happens when it is not any where near full. Stops shredding at about 8 pages instead of 14.

Cons: Sheet Capacity, Mess Reduction, bin size is too small, does not shred up to 14 pages

Superb Shredder

The Powershred 79Ci is the best shredder I've owned, and I've had quite a few. This is a very quiet and powerful shredder that shreds paper, staples, paper clips, credit cards and CDs with ease. I recently cleaned out an apartment and had a lot of shredding to do, which the 79Ci made fast work of. The removable bin makes it very easy to empty the shredder when full and continue shredding. It helps if you pull out the bin periodically and shake the contents a bit to settle them, so you can shred longer before emptying the bin. This is a well made product that I highly recommend.

Amazing Service

I contacted Fellowes customer service when I had exhausted the trouble shooting points in the manual and still could not fix my shredder issue. The Fellowes customer service agent - Angie - was amazing. Angie reviewed the trouble shooting points with me as I performed them while on the phone. Eventually Angie was able to guide me to a remedy that worked! I was so impressed with Angie and the exceptional service provided by Fellowes, I had to let others know. I don't need to look elsewhere beyond Fellowes for my shredding requirements! Kudos!

Exactly what I was expecting. Strong product, good quality. Easy to use. Rolls for moving it easily. Quiet. Safe. Jam Proof. I don't need a more sophisticated shredder. This one as everything I need for home or office.

This is one of the best Shredders we have ever purchased for this office. We have gone through close to 10 shredders, and none have been as durable or as run as quitely and smoothly as this one.

Just opened the box

I just opened the box and registered this shredder. All I can say is that it is quieter than my last shredder. The wheels were hard to get on. If Fellows wants an honest review, they should contact me after about a month of use to see my feelings on the performance.
So far my biggest complaint is that it is hard to empty the container without making a mess. The liner bags that came with the product is not a good fit.
