Fellowes continues to raise the bar. This shedder is ideal for the home user. Once again someone is listening. The features, quality and easy of use is outstanding. It is often said you get what you pay for. I agree. Fellowes provides value, quality, dependability and reliability with their shredders.

Outstanding Shredder!

I'm so pleased with this shredder! My boyfriend and I just finished shredding hundreds of papers that we've been needing to dispose of for over a year!! No problems with the shredder at all!
Throughout the full shredding process, there was not one point at which it jammed. No other shredder that I've had from other companies compares to this superior shredder! It's also nice having a quiet shredder that lights up to tell you when the bin is full.
We definitely could not have asked for a better shredder!

The name says it all, FELLOWES. The best is to be expected with such a brand name, and that is exactly what I found to be true with this shredder, the POWERSHRED 79Ci. It is well worth the cost. I am very happy I made this purchase. It is a quiet, jam proof, safe shredder. The caster wheels make for easier movement around the the place and the pull out draw is conveniently located too. I had a number of things to shred, from stapled papers to CDs. The POWERSHRED 79Ci has taken care of all of these things efficiently. The advertisement was true to its words about the POWERSHRED 79Ci. I look forward to the long use life of this product.

I have used the new Fellowes shredder for a week now and am very satisfied with how quiet it shreds. I am looking forward to several years of usage since our previous Fellowes worked well for nearly ten years, and many improvements have been instated since then.

Cons: pull-out bin does not glide very well.

I had ordered a cheaper shredder online, it was d.o.a, had to ship it back for a refund... this one works fine for home use.
Easy to empty, appears well-built.

I had a shredder for a few weeks a long time ago. It jammed constantly. I gave up and started ripping my mail. A few weeks ago I decided to try a shredder again, but I did my research. I am so happy with this shredder. Doesn't jam, shreds CD and credit cards...I love it!!! Another plus, it's not as messy as my last shredder. I highly recommend it.
