Excellent Shredder!

I had my doubts before purchasing this paper shredder because I had 2 paper shredders before and both are very disappointing. Used it immediately it arrived and so far so good! Highly recommend this paper shredder.

Great shredder I have ever used!

I have been using this every day now for a very long time and have not had one problem with it nor have i had one jam! Like the title said , this is the best shredder i have ever brought or used.

Quietly cleans up clutter

From junk mail with personal information to bills and everything in between, it's such a relief to just have a place to get rid of it all safely. I live in a relatively small place and I realize this was a larger shredder than I needed but it can wheel behind a chair out of sight and is super reliable and QUIET unlike every other one I've encountered. Worth the price. Easy set-up. I'll have to invest in some oil for the blades.

Love My Fellowe's Shredder

I had my last Fellowe's Shredder for many years, and it was wonderful. It finally died, so I knew I needed another Fellowe's. This one has wheels and a few other new features that my oldie didn't have. It is quiet and has safety features that will make me feel safer with my cats around.

Fellowes Powershred 79Ci cross cut 100% jam proof paper shredder is jam-packed with special features that make its use easy and safe. It delivers a generous amount of security for a deskside paper shredder and is rated as security level 3 machine. The 79Ci is quite similar to the Fellowes Powershred 73Ci, which comes at a slightly lower price. The 79Ci has a larger sheet capacity of 14 sheets compared to 73Ci that can take 12 sheets at a time. Moreover, the Powershred 79Ci with a feed opening of 9 inch is able to easily shred letter and legal sized documents. The 79Ci is also not as sleek as the 73Ci, in fact its designed in a boxier shape, which makes it a perfect deskside paper shredder for personal use at home or office. Equipped with SafeSense technology that stops shredding operation when hands touch the feed opening!
100% jam proof technology allows you to experience problem free shredding, as the 79Ci shredder is equipped with a paper overfeed indicator. If the indicator turns red, that means you are trying to shred too many sheets.
It has great warranty with 2-year parts and service warranty and a lifetime protection the cutting heads! SilentShred offers ultra-quiet performance for shared workspaces, but the shredding process is not silent! The caster wheels are very difficult to install, they do not snap in, and no instructions provided on how to install!

First impressions lead me to give this a 5 star rating. It appears to be a solid performer & I was surprised at how quiet it was. What was important to me during the selection period was that I would be able to empty the bin effortlessly. The 6 gallon pull out bin is great. A bit on the pricey side but well worth it if it lives up to it's jam proof claim.

very good shredder

very nice shredder works great for the amount of time we've had it in the office. Good for shredding heavy duty papers cards etc. Have not had any issues, fills up pretty fast if you have a lot to shred but works great!
