Good Shredder

Does exactly as described, although does overheat occassinally if you push it too hard. The bag becomes full awfully easily and stops shredding. The button to move paper into the machine faces to the right instead of down. Small problems considering it shreds better then any shredder I've ever used.
Pros: Quality Construction, Service Guarantee, Safety Features, Jam Resistance
Cons: Sheet Capacity, Mess Reduction

Could be the last shredder purchased

The first thing you notice is the quiteness. The paper guide quickly tells you how many sheets yu are entering.The safety signal keeps the operator alert. I appreciated the collection bags which eliminates the lifting of the collection basket to empty into another bag. My purchase was an excellent choice.

I have had other shredders before and this one is great! It is so quiet that if I'm on the phone I can carry on a conversation without having to tell the other party to wait until the shedder has stopped running!

This is my third Fellows shredder purchased for our office.
My requirements were to find an inexpensive shredder that would cross cut & be quiet in operation and not jam. I love this shredder because it will shut off if it gets too hot and you don't have to worry about burning up your machine. I oil my machine every time I empty the shredded container and this seems to make it work more efficiently. Everyone in the office just loves this machine.

excellent machine

I purchase this machine just for my home to shred junk mail, but as it turned out I changed jobs and needed to destroy reams of paper work. needless to say I put the 79Ci through its paces. all the proclaimed features worked great, especially the jam proof & temp sensor. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This is a great fit for our company. it can with stand up to 12 sheets and is super quiet. Shreds like a dream. I would Highly Reccomen this product. Great investment for our company!

Great shredder. I really didn't want to spend that kind of money on a shredder, but reviewed it and others for a few weeks before deciding to do so and am very happy.
Anything Fellowes is good to go.

It seems to work generally as marketed. However, we have had a problem with the machine over heating and shutting itself down if we need to spend more than 5-10 minutes shredding documents. Obviously, the closer to the maximum sheets allowed the hotter its going to get, but I expected a little more from a machine that I thought was rated as heavy duty.
