Wonderful replacement

We purchased this shredder to replace our former worn-out shredder. We love it. It is very quiet. It delivers excellent shredding of the papers and cards we have done. We have a shared office space and use of this shredder. We bought it for the 100% Jam proof features and it has done just that. We have no problems. It is very easy to tell when it is on. We also like the fact that there is a window to let us know when it is full and the pull-out drawer for the shredded pieces just pulls out to dump. Thank you for making such a excellent shredder.

Fantastic shredder

this shredder has saved my sanity...our old shredder burned out easily and always needed a break to cool down. In my first DAY of having this one, I plowed through the entire massively huge pile of papers that I needed to shred! it's so easy to use and it goes through everything...paper, staples, cds...now I look for things to shred, where as before I dreaded the thought of having to shred even one piece!

I've purchased 3 shredders before this one. This has been the best so far. Shreds far more papers at one time than most, very quiet, all the features you need and more. Would highly recommend this shredder for small office and home use.
Pros: Quiet Operation, Sheet Capacity, Quality Construction, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Safety Features, Jam Resistance
Cons: Secure Cut Size, wish it shreds to a smaller size, and had a bigger shred bin.

Have had two previous Fellowes Shredders: Both were quiet, strong, and capable. Tried a "store brand" before this purchase due to price and mocro-cut capabiliity. Had it home one day and returned it due to poor construction and extremely noisy operation. Fellowes is far better for quality construction and quiet operation. I would, however, prefer a Fellowes micro-cut in a more affordable price range for home office.

Very quiet operation, handles a lot of paper before needing a break to cool off. Haven't quite figured out how to empty without making a mess. Excellent value for heavy-duty performance.

After purchasing the Fellowes PS-79ci, I do like the performance BUT the power light is to BRIGHT. Also you need to push the paper in quite a way before it starts to shred, once the paper is in there it will shed it with ease. those are my only to minor gripes with this unit. The unit is quite when shredding.

I have had this shredder for 3 weeks now and it works wonderfully. Very quiet, shreds quickly, can handle several pieces of paper effortlessly, has never jammed. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this to a family member or a friend.
