Excellent Shredder

It's tough and dependable made with sturdy materials. If I had to be critical about this product, it sometimes halts even if the load to be shredded is not 12 pages. It's working great now but I wonder if it will over a year after its warranty expires. Kind of skeptical because I previously had a non-Fellowes shredder that broke after its warranty ran out.

I love my new Fellowes shredder. I have always tried to do with cheaper shreaders and always burned them up. With the PS79-ci, it does all my heavy duty shredding as long as I stay within the max. number of sheets. I like the way it digests the heavier work rather than just stopping. I will never buy a cheap shredder again. Well worth the money. You do need to make sure you lube it occasionally with the special oil you can buy. If you do a lot of shredding, you might consider a machine with more shredding capacity.

Great Shredder!!!

I bought this shredder for personal use. I got it for a decent price, and it has performed admirably ever since the first stack of papers I've introduced to it. It works fairly quietly, and does exactly what its supposed to. I have nothing bad to say about this product, and would recommend it to anyone who needs a personal shredder at home. The only minor detail that I would see could improve this product is the emptying process. sometimes there are shreds that spill out, or are left behind. Other than that this product is perfect.

Absolutely the Best

I have totally falen in love with the ease of use of my PS-79ci. I deal a lot with exxtremely sensative documents and the capability of having a shredder that makes little chips of paper gives me piece of mind that none of the information cah be resonstructed. Thank you ever so much for such a great piece of equipment.

AWESOME Shredder

I replaced my archaic shredder with the Fellowes PS-79Ci and I can absolutely say this is the best shredder I've ever used, be it at home or work. There was, of course, a large industrial shredder at my place of employment and, believe me, it could never compare to the Fellowes I purchased. It's so dependable, quiet, safe and the construction is superb!! I would recommend this to anyone who may be looking for a personal shredder or even for a small business. You will never be sorry you purchased this absolutely AWESOME shredder!!!

I have a home office and therefore have more documents of a personal and professional nature than a typical household. In fifteen years, this is my third Fellowes shredder. This one is the heaviest duty shredder I have owned of those three yet it is the quietist, most durable and efficient of the three. This is due in part, I am sure, to the change in technology as well as going with a more expensive model this time. While I have only had this model about two months, I am already impressed by the performance. Having had a considerable amount of old records to shred during this brief period, I am impressed with how well, how fast and how long this shredder will work without jamming or overheating.

This shredder is a workhorse. It gets a lot of use, and, in spite of it, performs very quietly. Should my hand be close to the paper feed, it shuts off automatically, a safety feature I really appreciate. The wheels make it very maneuverable, and they slide easily, so no great effort is required to push it.
