I really like my shredder, it is very quite and once it has shredded the paper it stops running. Most shredders run for another 3 to 4 seconds after the paper has shredded and some times this is very annoying.
The one thing I do noit care for is the basket that you dump. You have to push the basket in very firmly, and I mean very firmly. Also you you dump the paper it leaves a lot of paper that is coming down from the shredder and even with the basket having a trash liner it still has a lot of residue paper and you have to get a dust pan to clean up the mess.

It is quiet and does the job. We dont have to worry about it jamming or getting too hot. We love it and would recommend it to everyone!!

I've used many different shredders over the years, but this one performs as advertised. Smooth and easy operation, handles multiple pages with ease, along with credit cards, CD's and DVD's. Short of an industrial, heavy-duty machine, this is the one to buy for home office and small business applications.

Superior Performance

Safeguarding yourself from identity theft is of paramount importance today. The proper shredding of compromising documents is one of the single most important safeguards a person can take to help prevent such a tragic event. Before upgrading to my Fellowes PS-79Ci shredder, I failed to shred all such documents, as my old shredder was far too slow, jammed easily and was just unreliable. In addition, it was not a cross cut model, so even the few documents I did shred, were not adequately destroyed.
Now with the Fellowes PS-79Ci shredder, shredding has become almost effortless and is no longer the laborious exercise it once was. I now have in place the fast and reliable means to shed all of those compromising documents that would otherwise be vulnerable to identity theft.
The addition of the Fellowes PS-79Ci shredder is one of the soundest investments that I have made.

I love my new toy

I can honestly say that I am having has much with my new Shredder has I am with my new Driver. We had so many papers to shred, Its toughness and safety features made the job a pleasure. It will be piece of equipment that will last a long time. Thank you.

Love this shredder

I love this shredder. It never jams! The only reason I rate this shredder at 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is annoying that a business envelope will not fit through the shredder slot horizontally. I am sure this won't bother most people, but I just wish the slot was long enough for a business envelope.

Best Shredder I Have Ever Owned

I have owned other brands. Let me put to you this way I won't buy anything but Fellows. This also has a featured that isn't mention and that is when the basket is full it lets you know. I love that. Most Jams are caused by over filled basket.
