This shredder over exceeds my expectations. It was a very good purchase on my part. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a shredder.

I had to replace my old shredder as it died the other week. It was not a Fellowes. I called a friend and asked what kind she had. She gave me the model number and said she had not had a thing go wrong with hers and she has had it some time. Since I did not want to go "shopping" around, I ordered it over the internet. It arrived in a few days. I is the quietest shredder I have ever heard! It shreds paper fast and no jamming. I have shredded credit cards and CDs which normally ruin a regular shredder. I would recommend this particular model to anyone.

The Best Shredder Yet!

I did alot of research before purchasing the PS-79Ci Shredder. It is amazing how many people hate the shredder they own. The PS-79Ci had a real fan club. I can see why. It is quiet, jam free, nice to look at and shreds large amounts of paper at a time without any problems at all. I would happily suggest this shredder for home or small office use. It is a real gem among rocks.

Outstanding Performance

This unit replaced a shredder that was noisier (by far), messier, and jammed fairly frequently - it eventually jammed itself to the trash heap. The Fellowes PS-79Ci has exceeded all of my expectations, and the "silence" is deafening! It is very quiet, very safe to use, and has not jammed! I give this unit a strong BUY recommendation!

Excellent Shredder

I bought this shredder after owning a previous shredder made by Fellowes. That shredder was very loud and apt to jam at times. That's what finally made the previous shredder quit--too many jams. So I opted for this more expensive shredder hoping this will last much longer. I am happy so far with its very quiet operation. I hope the price I paid is reflected in its durability.

Cons: Mess Reduction, too small of a basket, expensive
