Excellent Product - can be messy

Shredder works very well. Safe, relatively quiet operation. Shreds documents, cards, disks with ease. Especially like the lighted indicator that tells you how close you are to maximum number of sheets.
If you're using a bag to catch the waste, little plastic tabs inside the bag holder compartment are positioned so they rip into the bag when you try to remove it. This creates a mess of tiny paper fragments.

Excellent Shredder

This shredder is everything it's been written up to be. As you can probably tell, I love it. Yes it's quiet, even when it's grinding up a CD or an expired credit card. It has never jammed and has no problem taking the maximum amount of paper over and over again. It is a quality machine built solid and should last a long time. I truly cannot think of anything I dislike about this shredder. It is well worth the money.

Best Shredder Ever Owned

This shredder is the best so far. The smoothest operating model. I had lost three previous shredders due to paper jams, cutters freezing up, etc.

I really love this shredder. Our office has a lot of papers that have to be shredded on a weekly basis and this stredder does the job beautifully. It is dependable and very easy to use. Others in the office come in to use ours and it handles the work load with ease. I don't know what we did before...

Great Shredder

I've gone through three lower end shedders and took a chance with this one. It's a great shredder! Worth the expense. The only complaint is that the bag sometimes snags and rips when removing it when it's full.

Outstanding Shredder

I have owned several shredders before and found them all to be frustrating. No matter how careful I was, they always jammed up and overheated.
The Fellows shredder has never jammed on me when I used it as recommended. It does heat up but this is because I save up stuff to shred and then run it continuously when I use it. So this is not a problem with the shredder.
An excellent product, well worth the price.

PS-79Ci is Terrific

This is my second Fellowes shredder. The earlier one was a light weight model used in my home office and it served me over seven years. Its performance led me to buy Fellowes again. The PS-79Ci is an excellent machine that handles multiple pages with ease. It's a safe machine for when the grandchildren visit. It has a large capcity and emptys easily and cleanly.
Highly recommended to all.

Excellent product. Sturdy construction. Very good value. The only negative was the bin. It was impossible to remove a full bag from the bin without ripping it due to the plastic protrusions on the inner wall. Other reviewers mentioned this problem, but not as many as I would have thought. We are currently not using any trash bag insert, but shred directly in to the bin.
