Replaced an old Fellows shredder

Hard to do a fair review since it just went into service yesterday but early use was quite good and remarkably quiet for a shared office space. My old unit lasted over 20 years with "no" maintenance whatsoever and it still works.
Pros: Jam Resistance, Quality Construction, Quiet Operation, Safety Features, Sheet Capacity, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs
Cons: difficult to install wheels

Great Upgrade from and Older Shredder

I decided to upgrade from an old Fellows shredder that I have had for I do not know how long. It has been a workhorse so I decided to go with another Fellows shredder. I have had this one for a little over 6 weeks now and so for it has been great. I have used it to shred credit cards, CDs, and multiple pages of paper and not once has it jammed. The flip down guard for the credit cards and CDs is a nice feature. Quieter than my old one and no jams like my old one. So far, the only thing I noticed when assembling it was that the bottom tray that holds the shredded documents sometimes needs a little extra push to slide in all the way. Other than that, it has been great.

My NEW Fellows Power Shredder

It's FANTASTIC! I am actually pleased that the old Fellows shredder broke and needed replacement. HIGHLY recommend this version.

True quality

Once a year, I shred a tremendous amount and burned up my shredder. I decided to spend much more hoping not to be so frustrated. I could not believe how quiet this is, and find it actually shreds the advertised amount of sheets and can do so more than 2 or 3 times without bogging down or lighting up as overheated--not so for the other shredders I have had. I have allergies, and the others produced a lot of dust. This one does not.

bought this to replace a similar shredder from another manufacturer. so far this machine has worked extremely well and has given me and my staff little trouble. I wish the bin were a little larger , but then I guess it would have taken more space that we don't have in this small office.

Replacing my old Fellowes MS-450Cs

I had my Fellowes micro shred MS-450Cs for years it still works but the blades must be getting worn out cause the temperature cut off occurs too soon. This 79Ci is the replacement I picked. Not as quite as the MS-450Cs but still gets the job done. Furthermore it can handle 16 sheets instead of 5 sheets.

Cons: bin interlock broke off during shipping.
