I have lost another Mag AA flashlight to leaking batteries! I will never purchase another duracell battery!!! These batteries have cost me over $100 in lost flashlights and clocks over the last 5 or so years! I have used cheap batteries and not had this problem, I am now going to start using Ni-Zn rechargeable batteries for these items.

After just one month of not using the flashlight, I realized the batteries had badly leaked and were impossible to remove.

I purchased 4 new batteries and all 4 batteries were dead according to the Pulse Load Multi-Battery Tester. The batteries were installed in smoke alarms and failed after 24-hours. The number on the bottom of all 4 batteries is 7187 A967.

I bought a pack of 32 AAA's 1 year ago and contrary to the label it leaks. It leaked with the packaging and in my flashlight. The acid ruined the connectors on the flashlight. Beware of the 10 year leak proof guarantee - it LEAKS!!!

We stopped buying Duracell several years ago because they had leaked in our remotes and flashlights. We decided to try them again and after just a few months they started leaking again in our tv remote.
