Going strong after a few weeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far these batteries are amazing. They have been in our Xbox controller for almost a month now. The batteries are still going strong with no sign of dying anytime soon. It is wonderful to not have to switch out batteries weekly. So far I have no complaints.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We all know that Duracell is a good battery. From past experience even with leaving them in kids toys for years I have yet to have one leak. Duracell has been the battery I know and trust. So nothing better then the copper top.

Can't Test 10-Year Storage Guarantee, Works Fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put these in our Roku remote (2-pack AA) since that is an item that drains batteries quickly, especially since we use the headphone jack often. So far, so good -- but it's only been less than a month. A 10-year storage guarantee is hard to verify since we use batteries constantly in this house with a family of 4 (2 are kids), but if it lasts over 1 year, I'll be happy! Product arrived in perfect condition, and expiration of March 2028. If Duracell would like to follow-up with me in a year or more, let me know!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty amazing battery life. I think they came at a perfect time cause i was needing new batteries for my game controller. Usually batteries dont last long while playing games but these have lasted longer than the rest.

SO FAR, SO GOOD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put these batteries in my Fire TV remote and it's been over a month and I haven't had to replace them!! That's quite an accomplishment, since I have to normally replace them every few weeks. I can't figure out why it goes through so many batteries but I won't be using anything other than Duracell Coppertop, from now on!

Worst Batteries on the Market

Worst product ever. I used to like Duracell batteries and used them almost on all my devices. However, over the last few months, my opinion of Duracell batteries has changed 180 degrees. A couple of months ago, my emergency portable radio went dead so I decided to change the batteries. When I opened the battery compartment, both batteries had leaked ruining my emergency radio completely. Today (Sep 13 2019), one of my 3 (I have a 3 zone A/C) A/C thermostats was blinking meaning the battery was low. When I opened the battery compartment, to my surprise, both Duracell batteries had leaked so bad that they had ruined the thermostat contacts. The battery case itself had expanded so bad, it had ruptured and I needed a screwdriver to remove the batteries. Now having had 2 recent Duracell failures, I checked my other 2 thermostats and guess what? The Duracell batteries had begun to leak as well. So over the last couple of months, I've had 4 devices ruined by Duracell batteries. I now used Energizer batteries throughout all my devices in my home, in hopes that these will prove better, have better quality, better design, and not leak as they advertize that Energizer batteris will NOT leak for at least 2 full years after the battery life has been depleted, but we will see. But back to the issue: DURACELL BATTERIES ARE THE WORST of the disposable battery market worldwide. DO NOT USE unless you want your devices ruined by leaking batteries.

PSA: No Need to store in fridge.

Some of the Duracell CopperTop AA batteries I have were exhibiting very short life and I called Duracell Customer Service to inquire about their 10-Year Life Guarantee. They told me that batteries with no Mercury don't need to be stored in the fridge. Most batteries after 1999 don't user Mercury. I immediately got all my batteries out of the fridge. PSA. FYI.
