bad batteries

Leaky coppertop

Very unimpressed with a battery discovered in a flashlight - when you need it - that leaked and ruined the device. It was apparently made in 2014 in China; discovered in U.S. in April 2016; 'best used by' date of March 2020.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

AAA and AA alkaline batteries leak in every device

Your battery products quality has gone down in the last few years. They leak in every device I put them in and damage it. This one leaked in the refrigerator before I even used it with a year left on the expiration date. Very very upset with your products. Never buy them again

Duralock Leak Problems

I put new Duralock AA's into a Microsoft wireless mouse. One week later one had popped the end and leaked in to the mouse causing quite a mess.

Short life

Purchased a 4 pack of Duracell c batteries dated March 2027. I replaced a battery in a small clock. The Duracell C lasted less than a month.

Overheated

I put 4 new AA batteries in a candle that wasn’t working. The candle went on but a few minutes later I noticed it was no longer lit up. The candle was warm and when I opened the case the batteries were almost too hot to handle. These were new, purchased yesterday at Costco.

Several leaked in sealed retail package of 10

Bought these sometime in 2018 package said good to 2023. Went to get a few out of the new package and several had leaked. What a mess...had to throw 4 out and few others were below 1.5v so junked them as well. I no longer have the sales receipt nor do I remember where I bought them. This is a first for me. Not impressed at all. Wasted my money.
