Perfect Shredder for me.

I bought this shredder to replace an old one that was that was noisy, huge and had several broken shredder "teeth/gears". Not only does this one outperform my old one, but it is quieter, and takes up much less room in my little office. I have grandchildren running about occasionally too, and it's nice to have that safety feature where it won't operate if there are fingers touching the feed/slot area. I like the fact that the "body" of the shredder is actually the shredder bin, so it's easy to just lift of the head and dump the bin into a clear plastic bag for curb disposal. Couldn't have found a shredder more suited to my needs, (and I did a lot of research online before I bought this). Also liked the Fellowes brand name. They have a well earned and longstanding reputation for quality.There are other Fellowes shredders that are bigger, more expensive, or have heavier duty cycles, but this one is perfect for me. Mainly use it to shred old documents that are no longer relevant, like bills, credit card statements, bank statements, expired drivers licences, things you don't like to just toss in the garbage for anyone to read. Can't be too careful these days with all the identity theft stuff gong on out there. Everyone needs a good shredder! Very happy with my purchase.

Power shred 60Cs Cross-Cut Shredder

I'd been thinking about using a shredder to minimize the chance of identity theft for quite some time but had always put it off. Having recently done some product research (as I always do for major purchases), it seemed that Fellowes was one of if not *the* best solutions. Having now used the product to shred a mountain of old credit card statements and other documents, I'm quite happy with the choice I made. It tends to be a little noisier than I'd wish, but it also seems that's the nature of the beast and is unavoidable with the current state of available products and technology.
Pros: Sheet Capacity, Quality Construction, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Safety Features
Cons: Quiet Operation

Nice Shredder

It is powerful, and does not excessively slow down when fed up to 10 sheets of paper. It has good safety features: If shredder is moved out of place it senses status and shuts down. It also senses it and shuts down if fingers touch the sheet entry slot. Handsome-looking and right-sized.

This was my third shredder purchase. The two previous ones had to be returned when they stopped working after the first use. This shredder is powerful, but safe and reliable.

Safe shredding is not a dream anymore!

I had set up a small business but with lots of confidential transactions and paperwork and always wondered how to have trash them material but the safest way possible, went online and searched, kept searching, until i found the Fellows Shredder. I like the style and design, as i used to have one but with paper jam problems and even safety concerns, but when unboxing and using it of very first time. i came to know that out of all the minor of major office items bought so far, this is the one that i will never regret. It already paid for itself by protecting my documents from being in the wrong hands.Thanks Fellowes for investing in this sector.

Replacement shredder

Had my old fellowes for close to eight years, loved it except for the front of it was lower and when I emptied it made a mess. It finally died yesterday. Went on Office Depot site and looked at many many shredders. Finally setteled for a new and improved model of what I had. Price was fair, improved design will eliminate spill didn't have all the whistles and bells but did what I need it to do. My boss has had three fancy ones in the time I have had this one. Very dependable product.
