Good replacemen

I purchased this to replace an older shredder, so far it works GREAT. Higher pitch noise than previous one.
Pros: Jam Resistance, Quality Construction, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Sheet Capacity, Warranty

This shredder was delivered to me just today. The side of the box had been previously ripped open and taped closed, but the shredder appeared to have no damage. I unpacked it, put it in my home office next to my printer table and set the shredder top onto the basket. What!?! it wobbled just sitting on the wood floor. I tried it in other locations, and it still wobbled. Mind you, this thing has no casters, but rather a flat bottom (or so I thought). I removed the shredder top and inspected the bottom of the basket. Low and behold, there was a large bulge in the bottom surface that, unless it was setting on carpet, caused the whole thing to wobble. I immediately put it back in the box and returned it to the store, without even testing how it functions. I only gave it "1's" for operating characteristics, because the system would not let me leave those fields blank.
Pros: not possible to say because i never used it.
Cons: Quality Construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was very happy with this shredder. It did the job and was reasonably quiet until the safety light stayed on after emptying it. I was disappointed, but less than 10 minutes on the phone, including hold time, with customer support and they are shipping a replacement. That problem doesn't show up a lot in reviews, so I can accept a fluke event. The warranty service was outstanding!

Replacement

This is the 2nd 46060 I have bought. The last unit quit working yesterday I think the gears wore out. Have been running it since August of 2016. So performed well during that time.
Pros: Mess Reduction, Quality Construction, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Sheet Capacity, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs
Cons: Quiet Operation

Great little shredder

I initially purchased the Fellowes 99Ci, because it was a heavy duty shredder and I like that the bin pulled out from the side (I don't have a lot of room). But I unfortunately had to return it because it was so big. I then purchased the 60CS. It's only for light home use anyway. It's similar to the last Fellowes shredder I had. I love my 60Cs. It shreds fairly quietly and does a good job. I like the size and looks of it, and I like the safety features as well. I only wish that it had a bin that pulled out from the side, as these are easier to empty than the pull off tops. It has a 10 sheet capacity, but I always shred less to be safe.
Pros: Quality Construction, Quiet Operation, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Sheet Capacity, Warranty, sturdy but compact

DO NOT BUY

Bought the shredder in April 2021 and it's currently June 12, 2021, and it has stopped working. The "safe sense" light is on and I have watched all the youtube videos to clear it and because it's so "safe" it no longer shreds. I would return it if I had the box but threw it away because it worked like it was described the first couple of days. I followed the directions and even put less paper into shred but once the light came on, I have not been able to use it nor return it.
Pros: Safety Features, Secure Cut Size
Cons: Quality Construction, Safety Features
