Appreciate Fellowes

This paper shredder does everything the company says it will do. I appreciate the simplicity of it and the durability. There isn't paper bits flipping all over the place. It does what I need it to do for both home and business and it isn't too big or cumbersome. Perfect for a home office.
Pros: Sheet Capacity, Quality Construction, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Secure Cut Size, Mess Reduction
Cons: a bit loud

Meets all our shredding needs

Just bought the Fellowes 60Cs. Took it home and shredded 3 years of outdated forms. The machine functioned perfectly with no jams. Low maintenance. Oiled mechanism when bin was full. Bottom line....very pleased with machine.
Pros: Quality Construction, Jam Resistance, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Warranty

Seems sturdier than others

I was in Office Depot to buy their "house brand" (Ativa) on sale. The salesman demonstrated the Ativa, but my eye caught the Fellowes 60Cs. It seemed better-made and sturdier than the house brand, and I was familiar with the brand name. When I asked the sales associate which one he would buy he said "Fellowes", even though the store has a higher profit margin on the Ativa. So I spent $20 more for the Fellowes because I felt that I was getting a better product that would last longer. I've used it at home, and it seems to confirm my positive opinion. It jammed a few times, probably because in my naivete I tried to cram too much paper into it's jaws at one time... after all the limit is 10 pages. But it DOES seem pretty rugged for a medium-use home shredder... definitely a couple of steps up from a cheaper unit.

Powershred® 60Cs Cross-Cut Shredder

Much better unit than the last one i had, it gave up just after one year always kept jamming. My current unit shredds just great no jamming and is easy to empty. As of yet has not over heated at all. I have had it for 2 months shredding paper and credit cards and my only drawback is it is slightly noisy but else all is fine. I would recommend this unit as a buy.

Faster shredding

My old shredder 155c packed up it was well build and a really good shredder >> NOW DISCONTINUED I purchased a powershreder 60Cs good machine, as the name suggest , it is a power shredder. Little bit noisy , and when you pick up the top to empty the bin, be careful , or you may drop paper on the floor ! not a good thought out machine.
Pros: Secure Cut Size
Cons: Quality Construction, Quiet Operation

Powershred® 60Cs Cross-Cut Shredder

I am totally happy with my new shredder! It performs much better than my previous shredder. It was easy to set-up and I was able to use it right away. The shredder head weighs more than I expected, but having the extra safety sensor and temperature buttons makes it all worth it! I was able to purchase it on sale at a good price.
