Fast and Efficient

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I used the label maker to mark the clear plastic containers in my kitchen so I knew which ingredients went where. The label printed the labels quickly and gave a variety of options to shorten the length of the label itself (adjusting margins and font size) so each one could fit on each different sized container. Printing the labels was quick and because I could adjust the size, it didn`t waste a lot of the label tape. It was also helpful that the product came with everything I needed to get started -- batteries and both white and clear tape.

Good product though a little bit complicated to use. I wish the item did not waste extra tape in between labels. Every new label (the first one) has an inch in front of it. Refills are expensive, so every inch counts.

This label maker is easy to use and read. Please be aware if you use caps it only does 7 letters before they become small. I abbreviated a lot so the label was large enough to read.

A Modern Label MAker

I am a teacher and my husband and I are starting a small business. We have many needs for a LabelMaker. We`ve actually had label makers in the past so this is not an unfamiliar product to us. I was very impressed with the brother PT 2040 C LabelMaker. It is an updated and modern version of the traditional LabelMaker. The keypad is larger than one might expect for a LabelMaker. This makes it easy to use and easy to navigate. It was very easy to set up. In fact, my two young sons were excited to use it. They had it assembled and printing before we even read the instruction book. Perhaps our favorite part about the LabelMaker is the detailed symbols that you can make along with the labels. They are not pixelated characters like a traditional LabelMaker might make. There were multiple images to choose from and the images were clear and modern.This label maker has the option of printing either white labels with black print or clear labels with black print. We did run into a challenge when trying to adhere the clear labels. The white labels seem to stick a little bit better.In general, this is a very useful LabelMaker. We have used it to label everything from spices, to organizational bins and totes , to office supplies.

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. The Brother PT-2040 Label maker works very well it is a very fun interesting product. I really enjoyed trying the product out. The assembly of the product was very easy and the instructions are very easy to go by. I really love the modern design of the product it makes it more appealing to the buyer. The labels are very easy to peel off that makes things easier. The bonus supplies that come with the product is awesome. This label maker is a organized persons dream come true you can print several labels at one time to help save tape. I have used other label makers in the past but I really like this one better because of the design, the easy label peels for inside use and you can save your labels for reprinting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product is Very easy to assemble, but requires more (6) batteries than I would prefer. It also lacks a power source and/or charging feature. Build is durable, keys respond well to the touch. The usability seemed intuitive to me, reminding me of technology from the late 20th century; those born after 2000 might not find it as user-friendly. I liked the label tape with the clear background, I thought the fonts are easy to read, but the symbols look like space invaders; they print differently than they appear on the pixelated grey screen. Once printed they look great but it`s hard to tell what they are on the screen.Accents and other features are easy to figure out. It allows for labels with two lines of text which is very useful and the "underline/frame"option is a very nice addition to make a label look prettier for special occasions. Overall very easy to use and very intuitive. But the amount of batteries required and the look of the preview screen make it seem a bit dated.

Wonderful label maker

It was very fast and easy to use. I was able to make numerous labels for both work and personal needs in a matter of minutes. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is wanting to get organized. The setup for use was very simple, you just put the label cartridge in it`s designate spot, close the lid, and begin. I`ve used other brother label makers that are not as fast and efficient as this particular one is.
