It's not my favorite laptop, but does the trick without glitches and it was a great price. The thing I've been finding hardest to adapt to is the keyboard. It has the number pad on the left, which is something I'm used to, but for whatever reason it feels like the alphabet keys are crammed too far left of center. The space bar is to the left of the touch pad. My right hand was constantly hitting the wrong keys until I put a few added touch points with puffy fabric paint to keep it from drifting.
The keyboard is small and shifted to the left to accommodate a full number pad on the right. If this was an option while building the device, the description of options was not clear. This makes typing uncomfortable and frustrating.
Screen is barely see able and the touchpad clocks when your not touching it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my new laptop! It is perfect for school and personal use. The only con that I have is that the mouse pad sticks just a tiny bit, making it difficult to highlight one particular word vs a paragraph. Nevertheless, I love my HP device!
I am disappointed that when working with app on the computer the computer screen will blink off briefly. I also feel the keyboard is not as comfortable to use as my previous HP computer.
