Just as economical as a Chromebook, and better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a needed upgrade to my goto Chromebook. There are just some programs that need a full operating system no matter how well spec'd a Chromebook is like podcast production. I have a fairly powerful desktop that I use when home and did not need that all that power when I travel, this HP is economical enough and powerful enough to run windows 11, without any hiccups as well as produce podcasts.
The screen is perfect for what I need to do. I have watched a couple of movies and it looked fine to me. The keyboard also is easy to type on, I am not picky about button travel and would not know the difference . I know that I type and it responds. Battery life has been great- lasts all day when I am out. I have NOT run the battery down yet, but will do so to see how much time I can get out of it.
Windows is responsive. I don't detect any lag in opening programs. The WiFI connects quickly.
I did contact support- because I want the laptop to lock when I close the lid. The support is broken into hardware issue and Windows(software issue) I learned this the hard way after wasting a lot of time using HP support. Since this is a software issue- this has not yet been resolved. I did not like that if I had a hardware issue , everything is taken care of by chat- and that was slow and painful

Great Work Laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been working remote on a smaller laptop. Just received this laptop and have been using for work. It comfortable to us for hours at a time. Love the 15in screen and the keyboard is very comfortable. Also battery life is amazing able to charge and use the entire day. Does not weight much so I am able to Use the laptop in bed. Great laptop overall

I use it for home and work to keep up on so many things - financial activities, movies and TV shows, gaming, reporting, and so on. The processing speed is super fast and I never run into lag on anything I'm watching or listening too. The screen size offers plenty of space for multiple windows and activities to do be done simultaneously. I absolutely love the amount of battery life I get as I often move around the house and outside to the garage - no worries about it shutting down in the middle of what I am working on.

Nice everyday laptop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been awhile since I last used an HP laptop so this is a good comeback! AESTHETICS: I'm LOVING the blue color!! It looks very elegant and subtle. KEYBOARD: The full keyboard is a really great feature compared to other laptops I've used. For me this is a huge bonus. The keys are good in size and easy to type with and makes the normal amount of noise. MOUSEPAD: This is one of the downsides for me as it's not the most sensitive and a bit hard to control. I will attach a physical mouse to it. DISPLAY: good size for daily tasks like checking email and watching videos. Screen looks clear and it has anti-glare feature. SOUND: very clear and good quality. BATTERY: pretty long lasting for me to use around the house and for traveling. SPEED: Setup took a little longer than I expected. For daily use though this laptop is pretty fast with no delays. Overall a pretty good basic laptop for basic tasks.

Slim and sexy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to see this arrive! I actually joined this campaign so I could catalog and upload old family photographs. This has been a project that I have been putting off for years! I will also use this laptop for networking and keeping in contact with my family that are long distance.
It is so slim and light! Connecting it to my Wi-Fi and booting it up was a breeze! The keys are smooth and only require a light touch for response. I love HP so I am anxious to move forward with my project.

Awesome laptop!

I just stopped working out the office and needed something quick and reliable for home use and this is an awesome laptop to have. It’s quiet and reliable. I love the fact that it’s fast charging and stays charged for up to 11 hours. The blue color is just a pleasant touch but it’s nice to me! Also it’s lightweight and not heavy so that’s another plus.
Now let’s get down to basics! This laptop comes with windows 11 and the processor and RAM memory work great and the speed is great for what I need. It loads fast and I have had no issues and/or problems like with my old laptop. The graphics are clear and the images look perfect. The screen has an anti-glare display and looks fine. The 15.6 inch screen works well and is not overly big and not small. I can’t find anything that I don’t like with this laptop except that it’s not touch screen but I guess I can live with that.
I would definitely recommend this HP laptop to all who are looking for a reasonably priced yet well designed laptop!

Light and Mighty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had the pleasure of receiving and testing the HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-fc0037wm. My first impression was that it has a pleasant design aesthetically amd was veryy lightweight. After letting it charge fully,I powered it up to get the ball rolling on its initial setup. After going through the first boot up,I logged into some of my accounts to sync my data over to this new laptop. This didn't take long at all and before I knew it, I was checking out my regular sites and streaming with no issues. I feel that the only reason that I didn't rate it as a five is that it doesn't have touchscreen capabilities, the keyboard isn't backlot and their isn't a fingerprint scanner. My previous laptop passed all of these functions and I found myself missing them when using thus laptop.

Great Laptop for home-work use

First the speed of the processor makes it fast for videos, doing the things that you do daily like web browsing and homework. The size is perfect not too big and comfortable to use. It has great sound and a nice camera. The tasks are done easily on this laptop. I totally recommend it.
