Very disappointed.

Bought this about a month ago. Moved my router around. The ring has an RSSI of 55 and gets 100mb connection speeds. As soon as the free ring protect service expired it stopped loading live view. So no access to any video. At this point it’s a $300 piece of equipment that provides the same functionality as a $15 dollar doorbell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was easy to install and the image/video quality is very good. The two-way communication works great and I can sync it with my Alexa as well. There is an option to customize the motion detection area so we use that to cut out the roads (we were getting alerts for each car that drove by). Many alert sounds to choose from. Just one minor issue is that the notifications are a little slow so by the time I receive the alert, the person’s already gone. I already have the top speed internet so I’m not sure why the alerts are delayed.

Don't waste your money. When you need it to work it doesn't. It does not record when I come home at times. It records every car on the street passing by somehow but when I come home or when people come to our driveway and break into our car it doesn't pick it up. Useless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Ring 3 answered our needs and works great with Alexa. Easy install, all the tools are included in the package and the hard wire instructions are on the money. If only the package included 2 angle wedges, I would have given it 5 stars.

It works but weird to set up - and the screws suck

Easy to install, connected right away. But somehow it lost the connection while I was trying to set up the Ring chime, even though I have 10gbps. But it's working now.
I have to say, the screws are really poor quality. They stripped after screwing them in less than 1/4 into the wood, I ended up using deck screws. Maybe they should cut back on the fancy packaging so that they can throw in some good wood screws.
