Model ST62151 purchased. Information online states "Pull-out bin with 4.25-gallon capacity". It doesn't have a pull out bin and the top is very heavy to even lift up out of the box. I ordered a different one and will return this one.
Very good medium size shredder. Works well and handles most jobs efficiently.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I liked this shredder. It came packaged well with a nice thick plastic for the bin doesn't feel like it'll break easily. The top part with the motor feels solid and has good grips so it won't be dropped easily. It has nice tabs that help guide the top into the bin the top also fits nicely and is held securely (bin can't deform to allow the shredder to sink in). I like that it shreds strips of cardboard without too much struggle (we use that to feed our compost pile). One negative was it had a loud whinny noise at first but that seemed to subside after several uses; Now the noise level seems to bee surprisingly low. I have another shredder that drowns out podcasts I'm listening to on my headphones. Overall I think this is an excellent shredder with a nice bin capacity and not a lot of noise.
A good shredder more than adequate for average home/office use. Much quieter than my 6yr old shredder and it functions quite smoothly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shredder gets the job done efficiently and isn’t too loud. It looks nice and is perfectly sized for home use fitting nicely under my desk without taking up too much space. From setup to operation the shredder was straightforward and easy to use. Overall the Shredder is a reliable and convenient choice for anyone needing an efficient shredder for personal at home use.
We bought the shredder and brought it home. We read all the directions etc. The shredder would not work. It would only stay on for a few seconds and did not cut correctly. We carried it back and they gave us another one and it works fine.
Loud and not very durable. First one stopped after 2 days and got a free replacement. The 2nd one stopped working after about a month. Waste of money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples 12 Sheet Cross Cut Shredder is a fairly compact and attractive paper shredder. The bucket holds 4.25 gallons of paper shreds and is solid plastic which is great because no paper bits escape while you're shredding or emptying the bucket. I felt like I was able to shred a decent size pile of papers before I needed to empty it. The shredder fits well in the corner of the home office. There is a switch that switches from off to on or reverse. I didn't need the reverse function at all while I was using it because it didn't jam! The shredder is relatively quiet for a paper shredder though it does make a noise reminiscent of a dental drill while shredding especially when you have more papers going through at once. It shredded even 12 papers at a time fairly quickly and had no problem chomping up a credit card. The resulting cross cut shreds are small and appear to give a good level of security as it would be exceptionally difficult to piece them together again. The shredder is easy to use and easy to empty. I would have liked some sort of handle on the bucket to be able to lift the entire unit easily to change location. It's a bit cumbersome to carry from the bottom but seeing at how one doesn't often move from room to room with a shredder this is likely not going to pose an issue for the average able bodied user.
