Great shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples 12 sheet cross cut shredder has met and exceeded my expectations! It is very efficient and has a decent sized bin so it doesn't need to be emptied daily. It's super easy to use and handy that it can handle up to 12 pages. We keep it next to our desk and have found it very convenient to shred junk mail as it's received. I appreciate the cross cut for added security. The noise level is about the same as youd expect wirh any household shredder but it's very fast so it doesn't last long. Overall I like this shredder and would recommend it!

Compact and efficient shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shredder was overall an easy and efficient user experience. Set up was very easy and the user guide was concise and easy to read (later note-might be worth adding more information to the guide about staples). I was able to shred a large stack of papers in less than 10 minutes especially since this shredder allows up to 12 pages at a time. I was unsure based on the instruction guide if staples were allowed so that took some extra time to remove prior to shredding. The bin capacity was overall good but I did pause part of the way through to press it down to not clog up the blades. One critique is that the lid with the blades is very heavy. When I opened it to press the paper down the paper stuck to the blades fell off and made a bit of a mess. Just a note to handle with care since it is heavy and can get messy and hard to handle if you let it get too full. I did appreciate the bucket viewing window to be able to see the fill level as well! While I do not expect a shredder to be silent this one was a little noisy especially with larger stacks of paper at a time. Since the shredder comes apart we are able to store it easily until we need it since we don’t typically need to shred items daily. Overall it seems like a good quality shredder with sufficient capacity to get your shredding jobs done!
