If you need a shredder for a condo or an apartment this is the machine you should consider. Fits in small spaces yet large enough to have adequate capacity. The electric motor is powerful.

I have several stacks of paper to shred and that is taking some time since this should be used for no more than 3 minutes at a time with a 30 minute break. But it has done its job well. The user guide does not say this but when one first starts using it use the lubricant sheet.

The box states it will run for 20 minutes before it needs to cool off or 40 minutes. It says it can take 15 sheets at a time. It does NOT take 15 sheets at a time I found it does 10 without a slowdown problem. It does NOT last for 20 minutes before needing to cool down. It started having problems at 10 minutes and 12 minutes before I turned it off to rest. So if you only will be be using this short term its fine. For me I have quite a bit to shred (deceased parents medical records) old tax records (20 years worth) my own personal old financial and insurance papers so this machine is going to take me a long time shredding what I need to do ( at least 2-3 months). Once my shredding box is empty it should be ok for me.
