To many do's and don'ts. Example: instructions tells it will overheat after 3 minutes and a cool down period of 10 minutes. I will do more research.

Bought this shredder yesterday and it overheated the first time I used it. Let it cool down unplugged overnight and tried again next morning…I put 4 sheets of paper in at once and it stopped working and flashed the red light as it was overheated. Taking it back today!! Waste of time and money!!!
