This small compact shredder is as advertised. It fit well next to my desk. The motor is a little noisier than a full size shredder but handled the 8 standard pages smoothly. It moved a little slower handling folded envelopes or heavier grades of paper The collection bin takes a small kitchen trash bag and handled a good amount of material. Economical for light use in office or home. Auto shut off when shred is finished is a nice feature in a small unit.

This shredder handles my documents with ease swiftly turning them into tiny pieces for added security. What's truly impressive is how quiet it operates – no more disturbing the peace while getting rid of sensitive papers. The jam-free technology is a blessing; I haven't experienced a single jam since I started using it. The bin capacity is surprisingly large saving me from constant emptying. However I wish there were more advanced shredding options like cross-cut considering the security-conscious times we live in. The sleek design fits nicely in my workspace without taking up much room. Despite a couple of minor wishes the Staples paper shredder is a fantastic addition to my office. It's reliable and efficient – a solid investment for anyone needing secure document disposal without the hassle. As for the notebook the quality of the paper is excellent; my pen glides smoothly without any ink bleed-through. The sturdy spiral binding ensures the pages stay intact even with frequent use. The pocket inside the front cover is a thoughtful touch perfect for tucking away loose notes or important documents. The compact size makes it easy to carry in my bag and the durable cover has protected my notes from a few accidental spills. My only minor gripe is that it would be great to have more page customization options like dotted or grid patterns but the ruled lines work just fine. Overall the Staples notebook offers exceptional value for its quality and features. It has become my go-to for jotting down ideas taking meeting notes and staying organized on the go. The scissors are just scissors.

The Staples 8-Sheet Shredder in my mind was a shredder that I would use and it would work just fine nothing special but I was very surprised that this shredder was different. It was much stronger than what I'm used to in a shredder. It shreds paper very well but they all do but I was able to really leave multiple papers together and they shredded just as well as a single sheet. I was definitely impressed. I was aware that would even work on credit cards. I was beyond skeptical yes it works on several sheets of paper even stapled papers but cards hard cards I wasn't so sure about and it worked. We all those old cards we have to get the scissors out for and cut random ways to ensure our information is safe and all the gift cards that pile up that have no money left on them. I put the cards in the shredder and it took care of all of them and that was probably what impressed me most. It was a real time saver which was nice to have on hand. I did worry that tge shredder would be less sharp and effective after shredding the cards and it was not less effective or strong in anyway so I was very happy with how it all worked out. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a strong shredder because this seems like it will handle anything you need.

I have regularly used this shredder for a couple weeks and find that it delivers on its claims and has proven to be an effective small capacity shredder. While on the smaller side it still meets the needs of an average-sized household with two remote workers. I had no problem shredding 8 sheets at a time and never experienced a jam or any hesitation. I was also able to shred gift cards without incident. The only minor difficulty I experienced was when trying to shred receipts. Because the paper is so thin I needed to shred several at a time or bulk it up by including some full-sized sheets before it would ‘grab’ and process. Otherwise it was easy to set up and performs as expected.

This is an excellent shredder. It easily shreds 8 pages quickly. I like the attached basket that collects the shredded papers. I would prefer a quieter machine. All in all I would purchase this machine.

I really think this is a great product not just saying that because I'm testing it. I have put multi sheets different textures of paper through this and it has worked perfectly. I really like this so far.

The Staples 8-Sheet Shredder arrives safely packed in double boxes but is easily unpacked and set up. Just lift the shred-head off the container remove it from its plastic bag and set it on the container (which features a handy window so you can see when it is getting full) you removed from the inner box read the instruction manual plug it in slide the large switch to the right and you're ready to shred. The shredder doesn't start running until you insert paper or a credit card and then it shreds quickly and completely and the shredder motor turns off a couple of seconds after the shredding is done. It is a compact and efficient shredder that takes up little space.
