I received this item on 1/26/24 today is 4/8/24 and it is no longer working. I can't believe this. I bought it with the thoughts of enjoying it for much longer than 2 months and 8 days. Here's the part to really blew my mind when the return eligibility expired 2/09/24 14 days after its purchase. So know I have in my possession a shredder that doesn't work that was rated 4.6 which is very good. I always thought that Staples stood behind their products I guess I was wrong. Maybe I'm wrong hopefully I am. I will go to to the store and try to plead my case who knows maybe they will agree and something can be worked out for a mutual satisfaction.

You can’t beat this shredder for the price. It was exactly what I was looking for to fit my personal needs. I do wish that it had some handle or a way to easily pick it up since I keep it under a desk and need to move it to use it. It’s a little awkward to pick it up and push it back when I am done. But I’m still very happy with it.

The reason for 4 stars is that you have to purchase lubricant sheets for ever y 1/2 used...seems a bit excessive. There should be an easier way. Other than that works well and tucks away as it is the size of a small wastebasket.

This is a case of "you get what you pay for." This is a budget shredder that should be used sparingly. It will overheat after about 3 minutes of continuous use (as per instructions). I will keep it but would recommend a more robust shredder to anyone that has more than a few pages to shred at one time.
