Easy and Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This paper shredder gets the job done! Sleek simple design not too loud quick and efficient. The document capacity allows for quick disposal of larger amounts of papers and the bin capacity is sufficient to hold the shredded waste. It is quite heavy and cumbersome especially when unboxing but once put in its place in the office the heaviness is not an issue. I appreciate the safety features especially having a little one at home and walking near and around the home office! We love this shedder and serves our home and work needs well.

Efficient Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I was impressed with this shredder. I was able to shred 5 pieces of paper at one time both folded and unfolded. I was able to constantly shred for at least 6 minutes without having to pause because it needed to cool down. The shred size was decent. However you could still read words that were shredded. If I were to be picky I would say the shred size could be smaller so that words could not be read but for my purposes the current shred size was fine for my needs. As far as the bin capacity after 3 1/2 minutes of constantly shredding I had to pause briefly to empty the bin. While this was a minor inconvenience I wouldn’t want the bin to be bigger as that would make the shredder bigger as well. So the bin capacity was a good size. The shredder is kept in our small office area with other office supplies. I love how easy it is to use. I simply put the top on which is relatively heavy; plug it in; turn it on and start shredding. While the shredder is somewhat noisy since it is only used for small moments at a time it’s not too much of a bother for me.

Quick and efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the person who handles the banking/admin side of our household as well as a full time remote worker I have a lot of documents with sensitive information that have been piling up as I've looked for a way to securely dispose of them. This shredder has been enormously helpful! It's compact enough to easily fit under my desk but the bin holds a surprising amount of pages. It has easily handled everything I've fed through including some thicker cardstock. I haven't had a single jam or problem and it worked straight out of the box with almost no set up needed. This shredder is a must-have for any home office or anyone who handles the banking for their family!

Sleek Safe and Efficient

Its sleek design and sturdy build give it a premium feel while the safety features provide peace of mind during use. This shredder can handle up to 15 sheets at once making it very efficient for both small and larger shredding tasks. I was impressed with how quickly and smoothly it processed documents. The bin capacity is decent for the shredder’s size allowing for a reasonable amount of use before needing to empty it. Additionally the shred size is very fine ensuring that shredded documents are thoroughly destroyed and secure. I kept this shredder in my home office. Its compact design fits well in the space without being obtrusive. Using this shredder is very easy. The controls are intuitive and it operates smoothly without any hassle. The noise level is comparable to other paper shredders. It’s not excessively loud which is a plus for maintaining a quiet work environment. Overall this paper shredder combines efficiency safety and user-friendly features making it an excellent choice for any home office.

Big capacity shredder that makes tiny shreds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a powerful shredder that can easily handle multiple sheets at once. I took it all the way up to the stated limit of 15 heavy thickness sheets of paper and it ate them up with no problem. The resulting shredded paper is very small - about 3/4” x 1/8”. There is no chance that someone could piece the original document back together after it went through this shredder. Especially if multiple documents are shredded together. My previous shredder created long strips that could theoretically be realigned and taped back together if someone were determined enough. I really like the auto “on/off” feature by simply opening/closing the lid. The blades are also located deep enough within the narrow feeder slot that it would be impossible to accidentally cut a finger as you were shredding. The speed of the shredder is the same whether you are passing 1 sheet of paper or 15 through it. My previous shredder would often slow way down as you increased the amount of paper you fed it at one time and would often get jammed. No jams yet with this product. My only small issue was that I needed to shred some checkbook ledgers which were 9” x 12”. The width of the feeder slot was about 1/4” too short so I had to fold the papers in half. Not a big deal but something to note if you frequently shred larger docs that are wider than the standard 8.5” letter sized paper.

Gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty good paper shredder that shreds in a cross cut design. I like this type of shredding because I can use it for filler in projects too. It fit 12 sheets at a time which is plenty in terms for throughput for at home use. The shredder has a removable top so you can easily get rid of the shredded paper without lugging the whole thing. I like that this model can accommodate staples so I don’t have to remove those ahead of time. It can even shred credit cards which is very handy and I no longer have to cut those up with scissors. It does have some weight to it but it’s not bulky and it can fit under a desk. The noise level is pretty typical of a shredder so I’m not bothered by it. Overall it’s great for at-home use.

Safe and Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Staples 15 Sheet Cross Cut Shredder several times over the past few weeks. The shredder is sturdy heavy and large enough without being overbearing. The shred size is fine providing confidence that personal information will be protected. It easily and quickly shreds up to 15 sheets of paper at a time as well as credit cards. There is no significant difference in speed or noise volume between 1 sheet and 15 sheets. Overall the noise volume is pretty on par for a home shredder. The bin capacity is quite large has a window to easily view how full it is and holds more than I expected it to. I love how the top cover slides over the paper slot to turn the shredder on and off as it protects curious little fingers and prevents anything unwanted from falling into the slot. It is currently stored in a closet away from toddlers but the optional wheels make it very convenient and easy to roll out and plug in when needed. I have not noticed any flaws and find this to be the perfect home shredder considering the shredding efficiency wheels for easy moving capacity and safety of the paper slot top cover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product! On a regular basis I have a stack of papers that need to be shredded and now I can add in any used up gift cards. I glad that I do not have to worry about taking any staples out since this shredder takes care of that as well. Overall this shredder made the process so much easier. The size is perfect for under my desk and I love the sleek black design. The bin capacity was big enough for me and was simple to empty. It was not too noisy to me. I definitely recommended if you need a simple shredder that shred not only paper but also staples and credit cards.
