Efficient Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I was impressed with this shredder. I was able to shred 5 pieces of paper at one time both folded and unfolded. I was able to constantly shred for at least 6 minutes without having to pause because it needed to cool down. The shred size was decent. However you could still read words that were shredded. If I were to be picky I would say the shred size could be smaller so that words could not be read but for my purposes the current shred size was fine for my needs. As far as the bin capacity after 3 1/2 minutes of constantly shredding I had to pause briefly to empty the bin. While this was a minor inconvenience I wouldn’t want the bin to be bigger as that would make the shredder bigger as well. So the bin capacity was a good size. The shredder is kept in our small office area with other office supplies. I love how easy it is to use. I simply put the top on which is relatively heavy; plug it in; turn it on and start shredding. While the shredder is somewhat noisy since it is only used for small moments at a time it’s not too much of a bother for me.

Nice office equipment

I have a small business that requires old sensitive data to be shredded and this shredder fits perfectly under my desk and is able to accommodate the amount of paper I need to shred on a daily basis. It's nice that it can shred one piece of paper or a big stack and I don't have to worry about taking out staples. It's a nice durable fast piece of office equipment that works perfectly for my small business needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the person who handles the banking/admin side of our household as well as a full time remote worker I have a lot of documents with sensitive information that have been piling up as I've looked for a way to securely dispose of them. This shredder has been enormously helpful! It's compact enough to easily fit under my desk but the bin holds a surprising amount of pages. It has easily handled everything I've fed through including some thicker cardstock. I haven't had a single jam or problem and it worked straight out of the box with almost no set up needed. This shredder is a must-have for any home office or anyone who handles the banking for their family!

Amazing Shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my very first paper shredder. I've never even had one available to me at work. So you can consider my review as very good "first impression". The Staples 24 Sheet Cross Cut Commercial Shredder is amazing!! As someone who's always worried about her personal mail getting into the wrong hands (despite being thrown into the trash) I always would just cross out or rip up papers by hand to make it a little more difficult for anyone who might come looking. Not anymore!! Not just mail... but literally all things paper related have gone in. Cardboard mail packaging material plastic cards... you name it. The shredder destroyed it with ease. There's something so satisfying about it going in one piece and coming out the other end as nicely shredded material. This is perfect for anyone looking to get rid of sensitive paperwork or add some eco-friendly packaging material to their mail! Did I mention.. this things got wheels? Granted it makes sense since it's so heavy but not all heavy things come with them! It's got a cover slider to help keep accidental shredding from happening and the shred bin is generously roomy. I highly recommend this shredder to all!

A great shredder for my home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s the perfect size. Fits underneath my desk nicely doesn’t take up a lot of space. It’s not too loud that it’s distracting. Shreds nicely eats the paper pretty smoothly. The bin size is a good size perfect for at-home use.

Staple paper shredder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression taking it out of the box was it is super heavy. I did struggle removing it from the box and getting it set up. Once it was plugged in everything was self-explanatory. I love that it slides open to and then you place the papers in the shredder. I love that safeguard there in case there’s ever a little fingers around. My second favorite thing about it is it’s super quiet. With how heavy it was I assumed it was going to be loud and aggressive sounding. Overall I’m super impressed with the quality. I’m able to shred up to 24 papers with Staples included. Saves me so much time not pulling them apart when I’m in a hurry . We use this at our business in our office and find that it’s super convenient to roll around with the wheels at the bottom. That way if I’m shredding a large amount of things I can slide it right up to my chair. And roll it back into place when I’m done.

Shredded Perfectly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shredder is first and foremost-heavy! But I took that as a good sign-and it was. This thing shreds credit cards multiple papers at a time folders etc. it’s a beast. And it’s nice to have that peace of mind that my personal information isn't going into the trash and could possibly be found. These days it seems like your personal info is everywhere and running a small business I want to make sure we are doing our due diligence with disposing of material with account numbers addresses etc. and this shredder sure makes that a lot easier! Would recommend to anyone personal or business. It isn’t gigantic so it’s perfect for personal or small business. Pretty quiet too!

Shred Efficiently

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples 24 Sheet Cross Cut Commercial Shredder is a hardworking shredder that efficiently cuts up documents with sensitive information into tiny pieces that allow for disposal without fear of the information being used in ways it should not be. I was able to shred a very large stack of papers that I had bee putting of shredding in about 5 minutes due to the ability to shrewd up to 24 sheets at a time. I also did not have an issue with the shrewder overheating when processing large quantities of paper like I did with my previous shredder. I placed the shredder in our SPED office at work and all 6 of the SPED teachers utilized it. We really like the large bin and don’t feel like we are constantly needing to empty it. It also cuts paper into nice small sized chunks. My only complaint about it would be that it does not shred cards such as credit cards as well as I would like. However it does a better job than my current shredder at home. Overall the shredder was easy to use. It took me a minute to figure out how to slide the top to get access to be able to shreds but I really like that feature of covering the shredding gears. I am planning on purchasing another one of these for use at home and I will feel okay about my toddler being in my home office because I know he will not be able to stick his fingers near the cutting gears because of the cover.
